Fabulous breakfast that goes far beyond the standard breakfast buffet with an option for hot dishes cooked to order and little breakfast appetizers and treats. Rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. It's also nice that they have a tea/coffee stand with snacks available all day for people to use.

Next time I will come back.
The bus ride from Tromso to Narvik had amazing scenery.
The bus ride from Tromso to Narvik had amazing scenery. We visited the Narvik war museum which was very large and extremely well curated. It covered the major world wars up to the current conflict in Gaza.
We had hoped to catch the Arctic Train to Sweden but part of the trip involved a replacement bus due to a derailment so we missed the most scenic parts of the train trip.

There is no bus going to Basecamp Narvik.
There is no bus going to Basecamp Narvik. The only options currently are car, taxi, walking uphill (approx. 30 minutes from downtown) or take a bus to the closest bus stop from which you have to walk some 10 minutes anyway. With the skilift you can go up to a restaurant and sightseeing platforms with fantastic views. I think Narvik is mainly a destination for nature lovers and nature related activities (hiking in summer and skiing in winter).

Quiet ski area. Interesting Arctic town.
Quiet ski area. Interesting Arctic town. Stunning fjords and mountains. Not very focused on international tourists. Good dining options are limited, but service everywhere good. Transport from airport by hire car (recommended) out by airport bus.

Narvik is a good gateway to northern Norway.
Narvik is a good gateway to northern Norway. We stayed only for one night and then continued to Lofoten. There is a famous cable car above the city but it is enough just to get to the lower station of the cable car and there is almost the same view as from the top. The weather is unpredictable and changes quickly.

Narvik is a very pretty and friendly township set along the very beautiful fjords. Delicious cod and local beer at fiskeroken restaurant. Bus ride to Polar Park was a scenic delight and got to see lynx, wolves, deer and bear. Mountain ranges are a stunning snow covered winter wonderland. Train ride to Narvik is amazingly beautiful and breathtaking. Get that camera out!
Beautiful view from the restaurant, but they keep these balls of string light around which you bump into if you're tall and disrupt the view by their reflection on the window. The breakfast was good, but limited choices since there were few people at the hotel. Room was comfortable, but annoyingly small. Why not upgrade us to a bigger room if the place is empty. They let us park in front since hardly anyone was staying there. I imagine more problems trying to get their 4 hour parking passes during the on season.
Staff were polite and accommodating. It sounded like they don't typically hold luggage, but were willing to while I waited for my departure. The best part was definitely the included breakfast at the adjacent hotel—filling and quite comprehensive as far as buffets go. Especially considering expensive food prices in Norway. The bed was comfortable, though I felt the need to take the pillow from the other unused bed in the room for the night. The bathroom was clean, with good hot and cold water.
Very close to the train station and museums. The breakfast is amazing, so many options and very well prepared. If you pay a small amount, they give you a container that you can fill with whatever you want from the breakfast buffet so you can eat it later.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Guests have access to a great 24/7 gym one block away.
Bonus: this hotel is kind of a historical place, as it was used by the Germans during the war.
The breathtaking view and unique experience made this a great place to stay. The location overlooked the city of Narvik and the water, with the mountains beyond. It was a cozy shipping container with glass sides to get the views. The lodge was warm and cozy as well and only wish we had more time to enjoy it - off season and closes early. Got to see the Northern lights from the deck and it was amazing!
Small but well-equipped, a nice kitchen and common room. The place felt spacious, although we did visit at a quiet time, it's probably livelier in summer. The place was being renovated but we weren't bothered by those renovations, which is a good sign. Also very cheap compared to other places in Narvik!
The place was very clean and welcoming with clear instructions for checkin & checkout. The host was helpful in giving directions specific to our request about parking, airport bus etc.. really pleased and will surely recommend to others. Will definitely come back to stay here when we visit Narvik again.
Personal at the reception was very friendly. On my request, I got a room with a perfect round-view in the 15th (uppermost) floor. Hotel has a large storage room where I could also leave some stuff which I did not need on a hiking trip. The Bus from/to the airport stops directly in front of the hotel.
Perfect location 200m from the bus station and just across the roal from the Tourist information Centre and Narvik War Museum. Very clean and simple but functional. Very good breakfast and for Norway very cheap price. Free coffee and cake in the dining room. Ideal for the solo traveller
We are skiers - Ideal location for Narvik skiing, other touring locations and Riksgransen. The appartment was very spacious, well equipped and very clean. The location is good. An easy walkk to restaurants and supermarket. Easy and friendly communications with the owner for access etc.
Location was good. Close to a couple of grocery stores too. Beds were very comfortable with two pillows for each person! The hotel was tidy. Also the rooms were clean and cozy. Pancakes for breakfast!!
High-rise hotel with great views of Narvik and surroundings. Friendly staff. Nice rooftop bar with good cocktails. Next door to War Museum (worth visiting) and city library/tourist office.
Lovely small apartment in the center of Narvik. All facilities within walking distance. Responsive host. Full blackout curtains allowing us to sleep well in spite of the midnight sun.
