Overall cleanliness (the descaled water kettle was a good sign!) Comfy beds and pillows. Quiet even though it's next to the highway. Not big but still spacious. Responsive staff before arrival (in Booking app chat) regarding my questions. Big and small towel per person.

Marian went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The room ist very spacious (even bigger than in the pictures!) and the bed is very soft & comfortable. Everything looks so new and clean and the bathroom is very nice. The breakfast is the best part about this stay, it was so delicious! Every day you get a new surprise, like eggs, granola, yoghurt, fresh juice & homemade things. If you have dietary restrictions, Marian is awesome! She put my gluten-free buns in the oven every morning (I have to eat gluten-free so I brought them from home) and she even bought crackers and granola for me, that was so nice. We did a Yoga Teacher Training at Lichtfontein (Appelscha) and this was the perfect place to stay & recharge. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

It was exactly what it said it was, a cute, clean cosy chalet. Surrounded by greenery it was very private. The owner was nice and arranged a check-in outside of normal time and that was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed watching the Olympics on the large TV. The bed was good and the wifi strong. We were just passing through one night but it looked like it was well appointed for a longer stay.
