Breakfast was lovely, plenty of selection. Room was lovely, although the air conditioning did not seem to make it much cooler. It would be nice to be able to open the portholes! Location was the only drawback. Although we enjoyed taking a water taxi, it would have been nicer to have been in a slightly closer location to the main centre. Staff were extraordinarily friendly and welcoming.

For those who like watching the hustle and bustle of the shipping on the river, it is ideal, as it has a large bar and restaurant with a terrace facing the river.
It is quite close to the Metro station with access to Rotterdam centre in about 20 mins. Forget taxis as they are alsmost non-existant.
Do not book suite 003 as it is located in the basement and has very little view.

It is a reasonably long walk into town but there is a regular bus service. The tram station is about 8-10 mins walk away with trams running to central Rotterdam about every 15 mins and to other commuter towns down the Waterway to the Hoek van Holland. However, they don't take cash - credit cards only.
The view from the lounge, bar and rsstaurant areas is an ever changing panorama of ships both big and small passing close by the windows. There is also a terrace with tables and chairs outside facing the river should it be warm enough.

Vlaardingen is a typical Dutch Town with plenty of Bars and Restaurants.
The vicinity to the River Maas is just perfect for shipping lovers.
Now that it is part of the Rotterdam Metro System it has fast and efficient connections to the City and the Hook of Holland so plenty to explore and enjoy.

Vlaardingen is very close to both Delft and Rotterdam, and provides a nice landing spot away from the more touristy towns. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here, a little off of the beaten path, to have access to the whole region!
Good and tasty breakfast, friendly service. The room and corridors with carpets were not the best quality, some dirty on the floor, stains in carpets, old carpet smell. In addition the heating was not functioning properly, toilet radiator (electric heating) did not function, as well as air source heat pump. It was also surprise that shrew (small mouse) was running in the lobby, and little fox outside in the parking area. Generally I am happy staying in your hotel. Traffic was jammed with cars, practically every day. Thank you.
This hotel was top-notch! The room and bed were comfortable and roomy with a nice bathroom, robes included. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and even offered to make us dinner since we came in late after the restaurant closed. We went to Burger King instead because we didn't want to put them out, but the offer was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of good choices!
The room and the bathroom was spacious and the hotel provided a big cushion and a bowl for the dog. The parking place next to the hotel was free. I could walk the dog outside the property.
The room where the very good breakfast was served, had a nice view to the river.
It was easy to reach Rotterdam by car within 15 minutes.
Very nice hotel in Vlaardingen. The room was a reasonable size, nicely decorated and quiet. Staff were friendly and breakfast good. Amazing views from the breakfast room onto the river. Less than 10 min walk to the metro to get into Rotterdam. The hotel is in a cul de sac so we felt the bikes were safe enough on the sidewalk

The Reception were excellent and helpful. We have used this hotel for some years and even with the break for Covid we found the standards a remain the same. The restaurant also remained of high standard.
I like how the property is close to a neighborhood that is very safe. There aren’t many restaurants that are close by to walk to, but the McDonalds is convenient to have next to the hotel.
Nice view over the harbor. Clean room with airco. Good bed with different options for pillows. Pretty decent breakfast, but nothing out of the ordinary for a hotel in this price range.
Good hotel for a cheap price. The food was good as well and the staff is friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are big and spacy and the beds are comfortable.
