One of the best places to take as your base for a hiking weekend in the "Dutch Mountains" of Limburg province. There are abundantly many signed walking and cycling routes in the forests, along the Geul river and through the little villages.
We were here for an overnight stay, on our way back from an Expo in Germany. This was in the second week of October, and foliage just started. We consider going back for a weekend in a week or two.

Wonderful small hotel at an excellent location. The rooms were just redecorated and felt really lush and spacious. The breakfast was really good too! Just the right amount of choice without feeling too overwhelming. Many nice restaurants and walking routes on the doorstep. There was even a present in my room as it was my birthday!
