The historical elegance of the building including the gallery was just enchanting and the piano, its not modern thank god , art displays , artistic grace and history of the building was just such a surprise , for art lovers .Dogs allowed was so sweet ,the Anerican lady Veronica who checke me in , the evening staff the cafe were so helpful and it was delightful .
The Swimming pool and Spa was exceptional and the small pool sea views , it was a touch of class

It was enchanting and elegant , a slice of majic for me ,loved the toiletries in the bed room , my room was beautiful perfect and lovely view I could hear sea gulls and waves at night .

A lovely hotel run by very caring and attentive staff who really couldn't do enough for you. The location is great, just a short walk to the sea front with plenty of restaurants and other attractions.

The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean and had all the facilities which we needed. There was on-site parking, and gaining entry was straightforward (unlike many apartments e have rented). The location is on a quiet road in a very nice residential area of Scheveningen but within easy reach of the beach. All in all a very enjoyable stay

We liked walking along the beach boardwalk, walking around town, and we did a few tram trips away such as den Hague and Leiden for the Naturalis centre. We walked along the pier and that was sort of interesting; we didn't ride the ferris wheel. Getting around town is easy walking or tram. We had one meal at an Indian restaurant that was not so good. Otherwise, we had groceries and ate in our room. I wouldn't suggest Oct. as it is not beach weather but for sure less tourists.

We loved every moment staying on The Pier.
We loved every moment staying on The Pier. The view was fantastic, the room was clean and comfortable and we loved the special touches such as wine and chocolats wating for us every day, breakfast included and the staff were extremely helpful. The Boulevarde was long and exciting with lots of cafes and eateries. and the tram was available behind the Kurhaus and it was easy to travel to the Hague and back. We loved it and recommend that everyone should stay there at least once.

Scheveningen or Den Haag is a insider tip for people, who want to travel to the Netherlands. It is less crowded then Amsterdam, but just as interesting. The royal family of the Netherlands has their palace there, so you can feel some royal spirit in the city center. Also the National Parlarment, Europol and the International Court of Justice are located in Den Haag.

Gorgeous sunsets and you can walk for miles along the beach. The water was warm and there was plenty of room to find a quiet spot. All of the restaurants had delicious food and a wide variety of menu and seating options. The town is lovely and it is very easy to get around. Just a short tram ride to Den Haag which is a beautiful city in and of itself.

The town itself is busy but somewhat spread out.
The town itself is busy but somewhat spread out. There are three main areas - the new area where most of the hotels and restaurants are, the old area including the shopping street of Keizerstraat which is handy for almost everything, including a wide choice of restaurants, and the harbour. All three are linked to the city centre of Den Haag by three tram routes - 1 and 9 from the new area, 1 from Keizerstraat and 11 from the harbour area at the other end of Keizerstraat. Between Scheveningen and Den Haag lie the Scheveningse Bosjes, an attractive wooded area perfect for country strolls. Nearby attractions include the International Court of Justice (Vredespaleis) (there is an interesting visitor centre but to visit the Court itself you have to book well in advance) reachable by tram 1, and the model village of Madurodam reachable by tram 9.

I would recommend the Foodhall complex that is excellent, also if you travel in family we don't always want the same food at the same time, this place is perfect for that.

Super easy to take the tram and go to The Hague (15 min approx) the tram is at 3 min walk from hotel. Or you can trip to Delft also
Next time I will try another hotel, I loved this hotel about 10 yrs ago, but the maintenance is not there and for the price, I find it sad. So we will try other hotels around
You have a cinema not too far, so one morning it rained a bit we went to see a movie, this is also nice !
My initial thought was that the building itself was super ugly but after staying at the hotel for couple of nights I totally appreciated the location and the large glass windows and almost 360 views to the beach and the marina.
I really liked having the sauna and the bath in our room. Top floor is definitely better than lower floors that overlook the shipping yard and the parking. I liked how comfortable the room was with plenty of storage space, hangers, towel hooks and tables. I loved the location.
Location: Great location, just a couple of minutes from the beach and the promenade with lots of restaurants and beach clubs. Opposite the hotel there is a supermarket as well.
Room: a very nice room, good linens and towels, coffee machine, kettle, clean.
Breakfast: there is something for everyone, but it is a pity that there is no freshly made omelette, but only scrammbled eggs from an egg mixture.
We absolutely loved the StrandHotel! We felt at home and our kids had a blast. The coffee and hot chocolate corner was an excellent part of every day. The area had so many restaurant options and the beach was beautiful! Our family room was so wonderful. It had plenty of room for our family of 5 (3 kiddos, 13, 11 & 5). The staff was so helpful as well. We hope we will get to come back one day!
Superb location and plenty of parking spaces. Beautiful beach view from the dining hall. All staff were exceptionally friendly and kind. Beds were most comfi and the room good size. Bathroom was exceptionally clean.
Taking tram nr 1 we could go to the Hauge and even to Delft and we could buy a day ticket at the hotel reception.
If we can we will go back. :)

The studio is best located - close to tram-stops, close to Scheveningen beach&pier and quite close to the city center of The Hague.
We had a relaxed 5-night-trip and nothing was missing.

This location is perfect and easy to get to. It’s walking distance to the beach. I love that there is a vending machine with all necessities you could need in a pinch. I love that they have a small coffee machine downstairs too because that really came in handy.
Modern and comfortable hotel next to Scheveningen beach area. The check-in was really fast and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Furniture was modern and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is less than 200 m from the beach.
The hotel is very close to the sea side ( 5 minutes walk ) we went for Unox Nieuwjaarsduik Scheveningen, the staff is very warm and kind to let us have late check out due to the event, we truly appreciated :)
