I was in Amsterdam to meet an old friend. My daughter came from NZ to meet up with me during a longer Europe trip. Initially, I was inclined to book a hotel by Amsterdam Centraal since I was taking the train from Munich. I ended up booking here. It turned out to be a great experience. The hotel is literally connected to the Sloterdijk Station one of the main Amsterdam stations along with Centraal and Zuid (South). On the main NS train, it is one stop from Centraal (5 minutes) and two stops from Schipol (Schipol, Lelylaan and Sloterdijk). Besides the NS train, which is not part of the metro network, one can also access the metro, trams and buses. Walking out of the Sloterdijk stations, one turns right and the hotel is literally right there virtually next door. From Sloterdijk, one can catch the NS (long distance) trains or the M51 to Centraal. This is at the level of the hotel's main exit. Or one can go down to Level Minus 2 of the hotel and right across there are the buses and trams. We did not use the bus but we did use the M51 a lot and also the 19 tram to Dmien Sniep to get to Museumplein for the Van Gogh and Riksmuseum. Downstairs in the hotel is the Marmaris restaurant which has a selection of dishes including pizzas and pasta. There is a Spar supermarket right next door between the entry to the station and the hotel. There is a very nice breakfast included and the seating area is very extensive; so even if it was crowded, there were plenty of spaces to sit. All in all this was an excellent choice and I would stay there again.
XO Hotels City Centre is set in 10 monumental townhouses, around the corner from the lively Dam Square and Warmoesstraat area. It offers accommodation with flat-screen TVs and private bathrooms.

Spacious room and huge bathroom! bed was okay and there are supermarkets nearby!
fast and smooth check in and bus stop is right outside too.
I really appreciate the possibility of leaving my car at the hotel's parking while travelling from/ to Schiphol airport. Very comfortable and convenient shuttle service, while my car stayed safely parked at the hotel's parking for free. With the constantly overloaded parking at the airport - it is a great additional service! Despite the location nearby the airport - I was surprised by the acoustic comfort/ quietness of the hotel. Ana last but not least, good food in the hotel's restaurant :-)
A very nice hotel close to the airport. The staff reached out to welcome me prior to my stay and made sure to let me know how to catch the hotel shuttle. The check in was easy, the decor throughout the hotel was lovely, and the room was very comfortable. There is a small, self-checkout convenience store for late night snacks, which was nice as we arrived close to midnight. The hotel is within a 10 minute walk to a tram making it easy and affordable to get downtown Amsterdam.
the staff in the hotel were really attentive and nice, the breakfast is abundant and delicious with a lot of variety for adults and kids. shuttle every 30 min to and from the Schipol airport, takes around 15 min to get to the airport.
pool, ping pong, a couple of games more.
the room was spacious and clean.
in our case the room was prepared for 3 persons.
The hotel was very nice, clean, and provides free parking which is a luxury around Amsterdam! The room was perfect with an extremely comfortable king size bed. The staff was very nice and available, both for the hotel and the restaurant. The food from the restaurant was great, and the breakfast buffet was very well garnished! I had a fabulous stay!
Loved the shuttle service from airport to hotel. It was prompt and convenient. The hotel shuttle helped us alot regarding getting to the Keukenhof Tulip Gardens shuttle located at the airport. Wonderful that you offered early check in and actually got it for 10AM when we arrived. Will consider this hotel when we do a cruise in September 2023.
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to the Park Hotel. Its proximity to the airport was convenient, yet not overly close. The rooms were spacious, exceptionally comfortable, and the cost was only half of what one would typically spend to stay in a more congested city center.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quite. Modern upscale décor. We liked the fact that there was a very timely and efficient hotel shuttle to the airport. The game room at the hotel was a plus.
Great for an overnight layover. The shuttle between airport and hotel was timely and efficient. The room was quite good, and the breakfast incredible. The staff was very helpful, even with tips for doing a quick visit to the city.
Very nice hotel. The bed was very big and comfortable. The breakfast also was perfect. Even though it's located near the airport there is a tram line nearby and it gets you to the center very quickly.
We stayed in hotel for 2 nights while visiting Amsterdam. Clean and comfortable room with everything we needed. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Free parking with plenty of spaces.
easy and fast free bus shuttle with easy pickup/drop off outside airport and hotel. Very quiet stay, room well insulated, comfortable bed. at the reception Candice was top
The game room and room sizes. Easy access to the airport although messaging wasn’t clear when booking that airport shuttle from hotel cost €5 per person.
