It was very clean and complete holiday house,
the Property Owners were very friendly, they speak very good English.
surroundings of the property are full of nature, in the nearby streets Cows, sheeps, goats and other farm animals can bee seen.
there is a small town at 5 minutes drive, there is Lidl, Bakery, gas station and various food options, and there is a Halal Resturant as well.
We were family of 5 and children were very happy to be there.

Laren is a lovely and quiet part of the country, with old woods (including the biggest oak in the Netherlands!) and excellent cycling. It is surprisingly accessible as well with train links to the nearby town of Lochem where it is possible to hire OV bikes. The local chip shop doubles as a fantastic ice-cream parlour in summer where they make their own delicious ice-cream, also using local ingredients. There's plenty to entertain the kids with a swimming pool and a really good kinderboederij. Huis Verwolde is a gorgeous old country manor that's been turned into a really excellent museum, with beautiful gardens and a wonderful tea room in the old servants kitchen. A must see!
