As visitors from the UK, we liked the experience of a rural location in Holland. The room was a bit dated but clean and perfectly acceptable. The food at the restaurant was superb and the breakfast offerings were typical European continental.

Everything was nice and clean. The location was great, in a little village, with plenty of space for oudoor life. There are many possibilities for outdoor activities or for simply staying in the garden/ reading/ playing board games.
There are some chicken living freely outdoors - that have the best eggs.
