Very friendly staff, very comfortable place. Hearty breakfast, which they bring to your door at whatever time you want! The garden was nice, there's a dog, a cat, even a goat, I wouldn't be surprised if there were more I did not meet.

Near a beautiful lake with a sandy beach and facilities for children. Perfect as a base for exploring the Netherlands. 1.5h by car to Amsterdam, 2h to Rotterdam. 8 km to the amusement park in Slagharen. During a week's stay, I recommend visiting: Giethoorn, Zaans Museum, Amsterdam, Leiden, Gouda on Thursdays - the market (April-August), Delft, Kinderdijk. In addition to Zaans, I suggest you use bikes everywhere :)
