It was a good place to visit with interesting places and events.
I liked the beach, upmarket shops and restaurants, museums and historical aspects which actualised my History and Geography early years of learning.
I liked the cruise journey and could stay on the cruise all day next time.

The Hague is an interesting city to visit with several museums and art galleries. Also the country 's Parliament buildings are here. It's easy to reach from Schipol airport by train in 30-40 minutes and easy to travel round the city by tram. There are lots of good bars and restaurants and some nice squares where you can eat and drink. Great for shopping too and has a lovely old arcade called Passage. We visited Madurodam which shows a lot of Dutch cities in miniature. Excellent trip for all ages. You're also close to the beach via a short tram ride and if you're feeling adventurous you can even ride the zip wire along the pier or bungee jump from a tower at the end of the pier. We just enjoyed watching them and having a drink in the bar there.

Top of my visit list is the awesome Mauritshuis Museum where it was a privilege to view the Girl with the Pearl Earring and The Goldfinch, plus many other important artworks. The Hague is walkable and access to attractions is easy. Public transport is excellent and other major centers are a short trip from The Hague.

The Hague's major tourist attractions are within walking distance and it has good public transports. With 15-20 mins you reach lovely town Delft and Seveningen Beach. Also a good base to travel to other cities (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Leiden, Utrecht, etc) with intercity train and even metro (Rotterdam). The price of hotel/apt is cheaper than Amsterdam and we feel safe walking in the evening (though you have to maintain standard precaution measures). Nice parks, too and it is so nice to see so many people from all ages cycling all-day long and what a great infrastructure for cycling in the Netherland!. Don't forget to pay a visit to the historical International Court of Justice (ICJ) even from the outside (to tour inside you may need to book in advance). The only surprise we have (in this is general in the Netherland) is the lack of free public toilet. Mostly you have to pay Euro 0.5-1 in most places hence if you are in train/hotel/restaurants that have such facilities, good to use them.

I did not like De Pier, I thought it was very busy and touristy and I prefer more private local quiet beaches

The hotel was in a great location in The Hague. Transport links were fantastic, 30 mins from Schiphol airport to Den Haag Central Station. Plenty of buses and trams close by. Less than 15 mins on a bus to Zuiderpark where we attended a festival. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Was great to be able to leave luggage in the storage room as we had an evening flight.
Broer & Zus is a hidden gem in The Hague! The hotel offers a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with beautifully designed rooms that feel both stylish and comfortable. Its location is perfect for exploring the city, with many attractions and great dining options nearby. Highly recommend for anyone!
The hotel is super nice and the staff is extremly friendly. The location is very good with the city center in short distance / walking distance. Same applies for the beach (Scheveningen) as you could easily take the tram (5 Minutes walking).
Great location right in the heart of The Hague. Loved the boutique feel of the hotel instead of corporate blandness. Really comfy beds. Will definitely stay again.
The breakfast was wonderful with lots of choices. The hotel is well comunicated near the beach and with options of public transpor to go to the city center.
