I stayed in the room with private bathroom. It's as cosy as shown in the photos but very small, and there's no door to the bathroom. A sliding door or curtain could already add a lot here. The bed is super comfy. I slept very well! Maybe a bit too cosy for 2 people (1.40 m wide?). Do bring ear plugs because this room gets a lot of noise. Doors slam, there's no way to avoid it. The windows face the terrace and square, and the bed is right next to the stairway. And Dutch people in general are loud. ;) It does get very quiet after 11 pm. In the morning around 7:30 loud trolleys will be rolled in and out of the building because of the bakery. The blinds (which I kept closed most of the time because everyone can see inside your room) are white cotton, so the room remains bright at all times. Bring a sleeping mask if you're sensitive to this.
The presentation upon arrival was great. The shared living room and terrace are beautiful, and a great place for relaxing with the free coffee and tea offered by this place. The shopping area is cute. Foodies beware! Stores close very early, though. Supermarkets stay open until 10pm. Bilthoven is beautiful with a newly built shopping district and there's a train stop just around the corner. Perfect if you need to go to Utrecht!
For the negative points below I think a lot could've been cleared up with staff, but I arrived late (and left early) and did the self check in, so I didn't speak to them much.

The location of the hotel was excellent. 5min from the train station inside the oldtown.

The hotel entrance and lobby as well all furniture are antique and fit into the theme and if you are into that this is the perfect place! However, if you are used to minimal clean hotels who smell nice and are cleaned to detail this might not be your first choice. Love the design but it felt spooky 👻 its worth to try though!
The smallest hotel room I ever stayed in (first floor). No warderobe to put clothes, absolutely no place even to put your luggage! It is literally just bed and immediately the bathroom entrance with a smallest bathroom sink. There‘s a small kitchen with a microwave, fridge and a possibility to make tea or coffee for free just near the room. It is ok for one night for one person, but even for two nights there‘s not enough space.
I know the area well, I grew up in Utrecht. Bubbles is a nice place, perfectly located in Bilthoven. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant downstairs was buzzing in the morning, great place to meet old friends for a drink!
Great and lovely hotel with family character. Very friendly ladies took care about of all of our wishes. Creative furniture and decoration. Nice breakfast :)) Everything was great. For sure we will come back.
