Hotel is set in a lovely grounds of a high end sporting facility about 15 minutes drive or 30 minutes bus outside of Arnhem (there is a bus every 30 mins from early until about 930pm). The hotel was convenient and cost effective accomodation for a concert at the Gelredome (for which return coach travel was provided by a partner of the hotel for a reasonable fee- this was very very ideal). Good communication from hotel prior to stay. Location would be amazing for a hike or bike ride.
In the heart of Arnhem, next to Sonsbeekpark, lies the Art Nouveau-style Hotel Molendal.

If you need to be close to Arnhem Station, it can't get any better than this! The hotel is right in front of it and you can't miss it. The room is spacious and has everything you need, including plenty of towels, a comfy bed, a working safe, and a good shower. I really liked the rack where you can hang your clothes, which is stylish and functional, and there are always lots of chairs and other things that made it easy to know where to put my suitcase and everything else. It's very clean and my room was also very quiet.
Most of the staff was really nice, particularly the people at breakfast (which is on the top floor) and one person at reception. You have the option to put a card out on the door that says that you don't want your room to be cleaned (which is usually my choice, since mine are always very short stays and it's also good for the environment), so I appreciated that too. Breakfast was good (if pricey) and I had all the amenities I needed!

The location is ideal for visiting Arnhem. Near local bus stop.
Restaurant is very good as is the breakfast.
Rooms are a reasonable size with kettle etc.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Stairs are steep but capable even for a 78 years old visitor.
Set in Arnhem and within less than 1 km of Arnhem Station, Boutiquehotel The Church has a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property.
Tolles Hotel in einem schönen Gebäude.
Sehr zentral gelegen.
On the banks of the Rhine River, this 4-star hotel has a great location in the centre of Arnhem, near highway A325 and 3 km from Gelredome stadium. Central Station is a 15-minute walk away.
It is very nice next to the river, but the rooms could use an upgrade

We visited Arnhem because of it's close proximity to the Hoge Veluwe National Park. Very easy return journey there by bus and I would recommend staying in Arnhem rather than Otterlo. Also to visit the war museum and cemetery. Very good shopping facilities as well. Even though the city was badly damaged during the war, and it lacks the charm of older quaint Dutch towns, it is a very interesting destination.

I am biased because I lived in Arnhem some time ago.
I am biased because I lived in Arnhem some time ago.
I just like the city, relaxed, calm but still full of life.
Lots of things to see, the Eusebius church is one of a kind and also several museums are worth to visit.
And do not forget the Dutch national park "De hoge Veluwe", the zoo "Burgers dierenpark", the river Rine, etc. etc.
Eating is not my priority but there are plenty of good restaurants around.... But yes, they all have a Dutch kind of character even if we call them Greek, Indonesian, Turkish, etc.

A very nice, green city.
A very nice, green city. Public transport is excellent, the connecting routes are very reliable, and on time. The park is amazing, with lots of geese and beautiful flowers, very green, and serene. It seemed very safe to walk in the streets, even in the evening. Lots of cafes, and the shopping area is huge, with options for all tastes and purses. Be careful at the bikes in the street, there are A LOT of people traveling the city by bike.
I would love to go back and explore more. 3 days isn't enough time to appreciate the place.

Good selection of shops, bars and restaurants.
Good selection of shops, bars and restaurants.
We had a recommendation from Dutch friends who live local to try Lestari an Indonesian restaurant, this was the best meal of our weeklong trip in Holland. This area contains many European and Asian restaurants.
The area we were in had a good feel and we all thought we should have spent more time there. We were passing through and the Bridge museum was our reason to be in the area. The museum was outstanding and to anyone interested in WW2 should not be missed.
The hotel was good for the central location near the train station. It has not really a "Hotel"-reception, it's the same as for the asiatic restaurant in the basement, but I didn't need that really nor did I eat at that restaurant.
Clean room, not shabby. Spartanic furniture and bathroom handles, but ok. Was mostly quiet in the room. Bed was good, also the pillows not too soft. Employees were friendly and helpful (were same ones as in restaurant).
A beautiful building in a great location near Arnhem Centraal station and the city centre close to a great selection of bars and restaurants. We loved the old-style decor and plush carpets. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfy with nice pillows. We were out early every morning so we didn’t have breakfast but we saw a nice selection of fresh breads and pastries being delivered. We will definitely stay again if we return to Arnhem.
First off, the Hostess, Lenie, and her husband. Next, the included free on street parking. The location within walking distance to the sights of Arnhem. The huge room with a balcony, and the very comfortable bed. Breakfast was wonderful, with most of the dishes homemade! Not only that, each morning, Lenie provided bags for guests to take “extras” of the breakfast items with them for a lunch later in the day
My room was in the renovated part. Everything was just fine. Shower and bed were big, clean, and. comfortable. No noise from neighbours nor from the surroundings. It was not cheap but I slept wonderfully, right across the train station and that is worth something. I would repeat visit. Staff was great all around, both from the hotel and from the rooftop bar.
The location of the hotel is very central; just a 2 minute walk from the Central Station. There is also a bar/club and a supermarket to the right and left of the hotel respectively. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful to us at all times. We had a room for 3 adults and it was pretty spacious and comfortable.
Super comfy beds, spotless clean, and really friendly and polite staff. Our room had a very nice desk area for working. Breakfast was very good, served until 11am on weekends. There's parking in premises, and is very conveniently located in the center of Arnhem.
The hotel was very nice, its central to main town centre, only a 5 mins walk to the shops. Staff were very friendly and the rooms well kept being decently appointed for the price. Great value for money when you consider a free breakfast is included!
Very nice big room with view of the bridge only 5 mins walk away. Museum practically opposite. Easy parking and access to reception. We had a good wander about but ended up eating at the hotel, fantastic plate of currywurst. Really nice hotel.
Very nice hotel in the middle of the forest, a very comfortable room, an excellent breakfast and very helpful staff. They have a nice sauna and fitness room with a wonderful view. Big parking lot and very smooth check in process.
The room is fairly large for this type of hotel (and this price point), the location is impeccable as it's next to the train station, everything is well put together, clean and comfortable. No notes! Will definitely be returning
Cosy, friendly hotel. Room was very clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We had to arrive late but the hotel was very accommodating for that!
The hotel is located in a beautiful area, surrounded by gorgeous nature, amazing for a walk or cycle. Great big terrace where you can enjoy a sunny brekfast in the morning, parking on site.
Amazing location, hidden away from the crowd. You can still hear the sounds from the highway, but its the Netherlands, you cant really get too far away from some kind of highway.
