The family taking care of the place was very kind and attentive. The room was spacious, the kitchen had enough pans and cutlery, the beds were comfortable, the view of the lake was beautiful, and the landscaping was incredible.

This is the biggest room Ive had in Nicaragua and it was so affordable. The shower was the perfect temperature and pressure, the wifi was pretty strong too. There's a cute balcony and the bed was comfortable. Maria and her husband were incredibly helpful with arranging fair priced taxis to get me to Volcan Masaya and Laguna Apoyo. It's a 13min walk to the artisan market and a 25min walk to the bus terminal/local market, but there are frequent local busses. I did appreciate the low priced delicious coffee and water.
