We booked 3 rooms. It was very nice and clean. Direct access to the quiet beach. Restaurant and Shop nearby. We enjoyed staying there. The stuff was friendly and helpful. Everything went easily … renting motorbikes, organizing tours… even when we extended our stay it went smoothly.

This was a great location, it was a 5 minute walk from a small very cheap restaurant on the beach. Then hiring a moped is cheap so you can go to pretty much anywhere on the island in under 45 mins. The host was super friendly and helpful, leaving clear instructions for a smooth self check in!

When I first arrived, I freaked out by the lack of any shops...
When I first arrived, I freaked out by the lack of any shops/activity nearby, choice of restaurants etc. By day 2, I LOVED the serenity of the place. There was one restaurant 50 metres away, where I ate every night for a few dollars, opens at 4pm. wo coffee shops, that also served snacks, and a general store about 10 mins walk away. I had a beach to myself for my entire stay! Staying at Red Coral was like being at a retreat. Very comfortable, and very clean basic rooms, hot water shower, great aircon, kettle, fridge. Friendly and helpful staff. I can't wait to return. If you are party person, this is probably NOT the place for you! Get around by using Grab app ... so cheap!

The beach is gorgeous, but we didn't swim in the ocean...
The beach is gorgeous, but we didn't swim in the ocean because of the concern for jellyfish stings. Beach is quite isolated from the rest of the island for most activities, although the mangrove tours launch from the beach, which is very convenient. I wouldn't recommend staying on Tanjung Rhu because of it being far away from other things on the island (30 minutes drive or so), especially with kids.

Staff needs more training - most were new and could do with more knowledge and finesse for such an established resort. Some came across as unhelpful, not willing to give extended check out even though the resort was running on low capacity. Some came across as patronizing which can be irritating to well-travelled guests. Half the resort was boarded up - they should close and proceed with the refurbishment immediately, not doing things by halves. Food was sub-par for an establishment like this. It is one of the best locations in Langkawi, but run half-heartedly. Such a pity.

Its a tranquil, quiet getaway. A lovely resort to walk around, with an excellent beach with stunning sunsets. Do make sure to have a rental car, as the location is a little secluded, but the area is worth the drive. There aren't many restaurants in the area, but the town centre isn't too far off.
Amazing place absolutely loved it here peaceful and beautiful by a beautiful beach. Very friendly hosts with comfortable accommodation in a small village by the sea. A little gem which we would love to come back to. Lucky to have seen the horn bills visit the garden early morning along with lots birds and the owners pets. Love the pool great for relaxing by and enjoyed Tarick chilled out music.

The hotel is located at the beach. You can enjoy nice views in the morning and during the sunset on a provided hammock. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable, AC worked perfectly. The staff was friendly and helpful (they recommended us the best place for breakfast, provided transfer to the airport, etc.). There was tea, instant coffee, cold ant hot drinking water for free. Also, there were several nice fluffy kittens on the grounds :)
Superb hotel and great facilities. We stayed at the Garden View Room Ground Floor. The room was really nice and the bed was so comfy. Plus, the jacuzzi was great. The staff was super friendly and the service was very good. My kids really enjoy the pool and the kids club activities. The breakfast was nice and the view was spectacular. Special thanks to Mr Amirul for being so nice and helpful. My kids still remember you.
The social area of the hotel is very gorgeous and comfortable, it can be seen that a lot of work and care has been put in making it pretty. It is located in a very peaceful place very close to the beach. The breakfast is delicious, especially the french toast. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. It is great value for the price.

Place is located at Tanjung Rhu area so it very far from the noisy cenang. That’s something we really appreciated about the place. Beach was nice and with just steps away from our rooms that made even more nice. All the staff were very friendly and accomodative.
Great location very close to the sea and just a short walk to Tanjung Rhu beach and a few restaurants and bars nearby. Very quiet and serene garden property makes for a relaxing stay. The host family are very friendly and welcoming.

Great location near Tanjung Rhu which is the best beach of Langkawi. You hear voice of the sea right in your bed. Nice bar Fish'n'chips next door. Local shop 5 minute walking with basic product. Definitely back again.
Beach & View very nice and not crowded with other tourist. Feeling the Sunset view at the beach is the best moment ! unforgettable the beautiful beach and view at this resort. My sleeping hear the waves very clearly !
The parking lot was right in front of the room as if it was dedicated to the room booked.
There was also a mini fridge which very few budget hotels provides. Thus, I can have cold drinks as needed
