It was a nice pleasure to be guests of Diana! She was helping us from the very first of our steps in Mulu till departure. Answering all the questions, transport to and from the park, making for us tasty breakfast. The house is not a luxury property, but it contains all the necessities for travelers.

I would definitely recommend this wonderful homestay in Mulu!
It was a warm welcome from James, who grew up in this remote place. Authentic doesn't get any more authentic, I think. He explained to us all the things you can do and what to bring for a perfect experience.
With Brenda we had a wonderful tour of the large caves and she gives us all the information about the animals we saw along the way.
In the evening they showed us a documentary on a big screen about the history of Mulu and the struggle between the locals and the palm oil industry. It was very interesting!
Thank you James and Brenda for our stay and the nice experience in this remote place. We will always remember it!
