Bintulu town is a great place to visit. Been to the local beach in the evening after the visit to the Tumbina park. Few good malls we visited n did a bit shopping. Nice restaurants around town n not difficult to find them while driving around. Would like to stay at Similajau National Park once the park is open for overnight stay.

Almost every month i come to Bintulu.
Almost every month i come to Bintulu. Here i can get fresh seafood at Sebiew Wet Market, i can eat delicious tomyam at Warisan Tok Mek Restaurant or have a juicy fried chicken at An-Najah Restaurant. I also can bring my family to Taman Tumbina mini zoo at to Tanjung Batu Beach for relaxing. I also can window shopping at The Spring Mall or watch latest movie at Commerce Square. Even more activities can be done in Bintulu, alone or with family.

Bintulu is not much of a 'day' city, well-known for as a 'working' city. Mostly centralized on Oil & Gas economy. High expenses little city with low expenditure from my view.
Much pricey in most items (dining) compare to Kuching. Not much developed attraction around. City is boomed with low-budget inns which is the most preferred by locals.
The city only accessible by flight from Kuching. To go around to the nearest city which is Sibu and Miri have to opt for land transportation.

Good cool weather. Small town with lots of greenery. By the coast. People were friendly and helpful. A number of tourist spots to go to. Relax at Tanjong Batu. Eat at Kuala Tatau.
Bintulu is quite an active town. Nice daily Tamu and Pasar Malam. Lots of jungle produce brought to these markets. Lots of hotels to choose from and at good prices.
I hired a car for the duration of my stay. Driving was easy.

The most I like Is bintulu beach , such a nice place to relax or exercise. The losing part is most of the shop in shopping mall is not fully open, many is in close condition. In night time , city soon to be quiet and silence.
I stayed in a few rooms in this hotel. I really like room number 811. The bed is good as it is really close to the window. The rest of the room that i stay in is pretty much the opposite of room 811. The bed is not that comfy and the atmosphere, It feels a bit like a prison. Change that exotic wooden bed, remove all the wooden decorations installed on the wall as it looks horrible and please use room 811 as an example if you decided to renovate the room.
The hotel did not provide towels, there were a lot of cigarettes bud in the toilet, and the hotel charges were different from the booking charges....why like this, during the booking it was charged for two nights RM76 but during the check in was asked to pay RM80 per night....Why like this....something like cheating the customer already...right
The locality of the hotel was superb, Marrybrown & Sushi Mentai within walking distance same goes to many other shops located at Bintulu Central.
The room comes with a bar fridge, electric kettle with cups & coffee/tea/creamer/sugar pack. That's the things I like most for hotels.
I love everything about this hotel especially, D'place Kitchen. If you don't have any idea where to eat, just go to the D'place kitchen. The portion is really big & the food is delicious also. Really worth it.
