Nice, typical place in Las Coloradas. Very small village with not much, the hotel has only few rooms which makes it cosy and intimate. The rooms are comfortable, the outside shower is charming.

We had a 2 night stay here. The room was comfortable and overlooked the water. Breakfast was included and was really nice. We also had dinner on one of the nights and the food was lovely. The kids enjoyed making use of the pool. Staff were helpful.

Fantastic location, great pool & terrace area on the lagoon. Room was clean, bed comfortable, air con cool & shower hot. Sunset cocktails on the roof was perfection - and they had a happy hour! Friendly staff who couldn’t do more for us, despite our lack of Spanish. Looked after us even when the electricity went out in the whole of Rio Lagartos meaning there was no air con / hot water / fridge etc.

Casa Ka'an Rio in Rio Lagartos offers a clean and tidy room that provides everything needed for a quiet and comfortable night stay. The room meets typical Mexican standards, equipped with both air conditioning and a fan. It’s an ideal place to rest after exploring the area, particularly after the highly recommended boat tour of the lagoon, which is a highlight of any visit to Rio Lagartos. The host was quite friendly, contributing to the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. Additionally, there is a pool available on the premises. While we didn’t have the chance to try it, it looks like it would be perfect for a refreshing dip after a day spent in the scorching hot weather. Overall, our stay met all basic expectations and was quite satisfactory.

The staff was very professional and comprehensive when we asked for a change of dates for our stay. They organized a transport for us to Tizimin with a colectivo (70 pesos) and they offer tours to the lagoon. The room was clean and corresponded to pictures/description. The location is central and close to a minimarket.
