San Luis is a great city. This was my fourth visit and one could easily stay for a month here. So much to see and do. Easily walkable. Great food. There always seems to be a festival on!
Make sure to visit the Leonora Carrington museum.

The front desk staff ripped me off.
The front desk staff ripped me off. They charged a $100 US pet deposit and said it was refundable. When I went to check out they said that it was a fee and not refundable. There were also several surcharges to my card that were not authorized by me. I am pursuing legal action with PROFECO Consumer Protection and consulting an attorney.

The hotel didn't have a map of the historic center so had to look for the tourist information center (which was open on Sunday and not too far once I've found it) and walked 20 minutes to Leonora Carrington Museum which was wonderful and open until 6pm. I also enjoyed having coffee and a muffin earlier at a cafe/restaurant with outdoor seating on a roofed sidewalk which is a part of a stately building called Edificio Ipina. I liked the San Francisco Plaza with a nice fountain. I would definitely return to visit other museums there such as the Museo Regional Potosino and the Museo de la Mascara which I missed on this trip and go on a double decker bus tour (only 100 pesos and departing every 35 minutes or so.)

Great city with lots to see. Great restaurants and areas for strolling. Some of the streets are for pedestrians only which was so nice for evening strolling. Wonderful ice cream shops with fantastic selections. I got mango one day and cherry another day. Incredible fresh flavors! We are going back to SLP!

There are a lot of museums and attractions, such as ¨Museo de la Máscara¨ also interactive Museum where you can go with your kids which was designed by a famous mexican architect Legorreta ¨Laberinto¨. There are several places to try local cuisine such as Cielo Tinto, Jacarandas, or Posada de Virrey.

Its the worst hotel room I had with booking.com, I could not take shower that night because The bathroom light was flashing and gave me a headache i had travel all day and was tired, so i went to bed and could not sleep very well next day i wash on zinc in darkness and had to be on road early so i told management i need it to be reinburse and was told too bad, I have no idea what Booking .com is doing with places like this, i am still waiting in reinbursment on an hotel in Viña del mar Chile, I hope you do the right thing for me.
The location was incredible, staff was very friendly and helpful. The host walked us himself to the parking garage a few blocks away to help us with the car, and helped us with the TV at 9PM, above and beyond hospitality. There was hot coffee and juice, cereal and fruit provided in the morning. We booked the private room and it is extremely large and the bed was very comfortable, feels like less of a hostel and more like a nice boutique hotel. Can't wait to go back.
The hotel staff were exceptional - one time our 9yo daughter went down to get krispie kreme (there's one right outside the hotel lobby) and the hotel staff checked on her, stayed with her and came up with her. That was very kind of them! We also liked that the hotel was pet friendly and allowed our puppy to go everywhere with us in the hotel. Its location, being in a mall, was fantastic; we could just have dinner downstairs whenever wanted.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The cleaning people were very nice and did a great job cleaning. The service people were just as great. The young man they have is super cool. He was very helpful and was always happy to assist. Pablo. Always made sure I was well attended when I ordered food from the restaurant. Food is as very delicious.
This hotel is about half a block from Plaza de Armas, they have valet parking and are up one flight. You have doorbell access to the front door, so you must be in by eleven. If you're a smoker, get a room with a Juliette balcony and you can close the balcony door and smoke outside. You can WhatsApp them with a coffee order in the morning, but there's no restaurant on site.
Excellent buffet breakfast - they even made very good poached eggs on request. This is built like a resort hotel, there must be 400+ rooms, but San Luis P is not a resort! It's very Hilton, slightly over-egged rooms, but nothing to complain about. Suspect the occupancy rates are not too great.
Staff were lovely, location was great, a few seconds from the Plaza del Carmen and a short walk from all the centre sights. Lots of nice touches in the hotel. Great value for money. Coffee and biscuits in the morning was an unexpected bonus. Good wifi and hot water.
A very nice hotel with excellent rooms. Big bathroom, hot water, very comfortable beds and lovely staff. The location is perfect and it was very quiet at night. The old building has been restored beautifully. The wifi was fast and reliable.
Exceptional owners make this colonial hotel a wonderful stay. High ceilings, walking distance to restaurants and Centro area, free parking nearby, clean, & safe. Free breakfast was made-to-order and delicious authentic Mexican food.
Marco was pleasant and tried to assist me because the hotel is NOT accessible nor is it friendly for persons with disabilities. But even his best efforts could not overcome the shortcomings of this hotel.
