Great location, a very short walk away from Plaza de Armas.
Staff were pleasant and took the initiative to check in with us every morning whether we needed our rooms to be cleaned.
Our room was basic and looked a little bare at parts, but it was clean and very spacious. I love the firm mattress, which provided good support for my back.
WiFi worked well, which was great after spending a week in the Copper Canyon largely WiFi-less / with poor WiFi and data connectivity.

We were surprised when we arrived at the hotel. We stopped at the bus stop outside the hotel on the motorbike only to realise that we could drive into the hotel to unload. Super! We also wondered where we were in relation to the city until we went for a walk afterwards and found that we were right next to the main square. Everything was good here at the hotel though parking will be difficult for cars - there are rather a lot of columns in the basement. Breakfast was substantial for those that like big Mexican breakfasts. Note that there is a good coffee shop round the corner called Kahli.
