Very Noisy our room was above Boxing classes also next to Main Street all taxi drivers chitchats just outside our windows. Our room was very rundown No toilet seat dirty bathroom old dinghy room. The Only Good Thing was we have an Quiet AC it work well.

Three large bedrooms were more than enough for the two of us! Very spacious apartment. Easy parking in indoor on-site garage. Within walking distance of town centre. Papantla is the best place to stay to visit El Tajin and see the Voladores of Papantla. Helpful host.

the mountain view, fresh air, and the rural surroundings is gorgeous. whether you like to watch sunrise or sunset, it is fabulous. The place is very quiet and clean and fresh and very comfortable. it is 35 minutes walk to zentro in steep streets and alleys, so taxis are necessary if someone doesn't want to walk. Oxxo is 10 minutes walk but steep slopes. It is nice to challenge myself to walk the steep slopes daily. Their staff stay there 24 hours and is very helpful. the chef and helper is very nice and serve superb café and breakfast.

Papantla really is a magic pueblo, so full of culture and friendly, yet far off the American tourist map. Home of vanilla and the Totonaca indigenous nation. The Voladores perform their ancient ritual on a 150 foot high pole adjacent to the plaza several times daily, not a show for tourists but an amazing ceremony to keep the world turning and their culture alive. Many other cultural events free in the plaza, local people performing for each other. But don't expect many people here to speak more than a few words of English. A treasure for the culturally adventurous.

Good location just below the cathedral and Benito Juarez mercado. Staff were also friendly, fortunately, given the worn, shabby state of the hotel. Internet is strong only in the lobby, where seating on hard wooden benches is possible.
Good location,just next to the main square. You can easily take a taxi from the hotel. Staff are nice. Rooms are equipped with AC, which is very important.
