Hotels near Lafitte

A warm welcome from the staff in a very busy location. I’m not fond of such tourism and have never seen it in Mexico elsewhere, but the hotel was a safe heaven with helpfulness and tips. I enjoyed my stay also thanks to the calm room when a bit celebration was going on on the main road across. Thank you for this

Perfect location near the end of all the hustle and bustle of 5th avenue but very easily walkable. The room was very comfortable with AC which was a great relief from the heat. There was a fridge in the room which was so handy for keeping water cold. The staff were very welcoming, special mention to Saul who was exceptional and made us feel very welcome. He organised a great tour for us and some great food recommendations!

* The location was great! * The beds were amazing! * The WiFi was great. * It was a nice change to get some TV in English (other than news and sport!) So we enjoyed a movie on our first night. * It was great having a laundry, although it would be helpful if they sold individual detergent portions as we ended up having to buy a whole bottle for just one wash. We don't generally travel with laundry detergent.

We booked this hotel very last minute as another accommodation we had booked fell through. We went for the all inclusive option as we felt was a good deal on booking.com. We were very impressed with the quality of the service provided at The Reef 28. From the very start at check-in to the last minute at check-out we've had a great experience. Staff was always polite and helpful. The food was amazing, breakfast buffet but lunch and dinner were a la carte, so quality was really good. All the drinks and cocktails included such high quality with a wide variety. The room was vey spacious and comfortable, bathroom and all facilities always clean. As it is an adults only hotel, the vibe was great. Unfortunately, our room faced a karaoke bar which made it a bit noisy but it's not the hotels fault, we just dealt with it. There is no beach access but you can go to the public beach a few blocks away or pay an extra small fee daily to have access to their other 2 beach-front resorts and you can use your all inclusive there as well (they provide a shuttle bus). The rooftop pool and bar have an amazing view to the ocean and again, great vibe up there. My only 2 criticisms are: - Would be nice if they provided bottled water in the minifridge in the room - Music is way too loud in the rooftop, hard to have a conversation sometimes. Didn't wanna be "that guy" to complain, but a few notches down on the volume would make it just perfect! All that said, I still rate them 10/10 as we loved every minute of our stay and we will be planning to come back. Note: we've read other reviews about a sales pitch for their vacation club. They do try to sell you at the very start but don't feel pressured in having to watch the presentation or commit to anything. We didn't and we still had a great experience with staff and our stay.

Pool wait staff was not attentive got ignored. the room was very dirty towels were not acceptable and found lubricant under my pillow which means cleaning lady didnt change the linens from the past guest! Disgusting
