The hotel is in a perfect location right on the main square in Izamal. It was a little hard to find, but once inside, it's a magnificent old colonial style building with a small number of huge bedrooms with decorations which are totally in keeping with the building. There is a decent sized swimming pool, and a huge roof terrace with tables and chairs with great views of the square and convent.

Really beautiful little oasis with gorgeous gardens and ponds. Very relaxing place to stay. the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good. Filtered water in the room. Comfortable bed. We felt very welcome and at home here.
