Nice Colonial town with a nice central plaza and Mercado to get a nice affordable meal all day. Quiet and apart from the Sumidero tour not much else to do except buy trinkets up and down the old arcade stores.

Beautiful jungle hotel, lush with plants, a nice pool, and a pretty good restaurant not too overly priced. Nice access to an affordable tour of Cañón del Sumidero that picks you up and drops you off at the hotel.
There are not a ton of options in terms of food in the town, so having the restaurant there was ideal, though it does close at 3. The weekend brunch buffet was a pretty good deal all in all. The town center has some decent street food options.
The hotel was ok but on arrival we paid 200 pesos more than it was listed on booking because of service charges. Afterwards I noticed it was mentioned in the email after making reservations however I believe such misleading should not happen. If I knew the final price from beginning I could choose cheaper or nicer place.
Huge grand house (3 bedrooms and tons of space) with lovely terrace overlooking the river. Great location minutes away from Sumidero Canyon tour and ten mins from both of Tuxtla Gutiérrez (with a good commercial centre nearby) and Chiapa de Corzo. Abel was very helpful and friendly.
This small boutique hotel is located in the center of Chiapa de Corzo. It is very clean and staff is super helpful (however, it would be challenging if you did not speak any spanish). The internet is excellent! Rooms are quiet and coffee is good:)
The garden is very beautiful and quiet and the pool with chairs relaxing. The restaurant is a great place for breakfast (not included) and lunch. The hotel is close to Cahuare jetty from where boat trips to the Sumidero Canyon are available.
The hotel was very simple but functional, super clean, and the room were very spacious and clean. It was ideally located in the center of Chiapa de Corzo and walking distance from the peer to start the boat ride to cañon del Sumidero.
The location is perfect! it’s literally right in front of the main plaza. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I actually ended up coming back to this hotel for a second night.
Absolutely charming house with beautiful courtyard, comfy hammock, well equipped kitchen and lovely bedrooms in the heart of Chiapa de Corzo. We loved our stay and would recommend Casa Cristal to anyone!
The Hotel is situated in the center of ChiapadeCorzo and the perfect start for exploring this small town and just 4 minutes away from the river where all tours for the Canyon are starting.
Staff is nice
Small Hotel right at the main Market-Street and close to the river and boat tours. Clean Bathroom, nice staff. The entry gate is locked all the time which ads to the extra safe feeling.
Coffee was okay, but the price and location were perfect for our short stay in Chiapa de Corzo. It's worth it to be on the main square. Staff was very nice. Would definitely recommend.
