The hotel is pretty and is on a nice location in the center of Izamal, and the bed and shower were fine.
It is important to know that most of the restaurants (and especially the nice ones like Kinich) close in the late afternoon, around 6PM. Restaurante Los Arcos was still open in the night and is a nice place to get good food! :)

The hotel is in a perfect location right on the main square in Izamal. It was a little hard to find, but once inside, it's a magnificent old colonial style building with a small number of huge bedrooms with decorations which are totally in keeping with the building. There is a decent sized swimming pool, and a huge roof terrace with tables and chairs with great views of the square and convent.

Beautiful grounds, it was interesting to hear of the history of the property and produce over the years there. The staff were very attentive and all very friendly and the rooms were AMAZING. Beautiful quiet location, small hotel by way of room numbers however this made for a nice intimate experience.
