Beautiful serene rooms in a garden setting. The staff are very welcoming, and the manager communicated daily to check in with us via WhatsApp. It's a short walk to Playa la Ropa and area restaurants.

It's a beautiful place, but a lot of areas are covered with garbage and broken down houses.
It seems a peaceful place. But we didn't see a policeman the whole time. We were told there is no municipal government there, everybody does essentially what they want (i.e. nobody bothers with permits for building, etc.) One long-term resident called it the "wild west." But that's why they liked it.
