The drive from Lake Chapala was beautiful with acres of agriculture and agave fields. Arandas is a lovely city with shops, restuarants and three beautiful churches. The plazas are bustling at night with venders and the people are very nice. We stayed out late at a sports bar and felt very safe walking back to our hotel around 11 blocks.
