Great communication from the start. The airport transfers were seamless. Staff welcomed us on arrival at the airport and assisted us with ongoing transfers. It was a very easy check-in process, beds were super comfy and staff were incredibly friendly. Wonderful service, would recommend.

Male is amazing for all the wrong reasons. Small island inhabited by 200,000 people. It is a pocket big city. You can walk it and no need to ride it. Still, the city belongs to the motorbikes. Male hotels have little to offer as the city has little to offer. Immemorable English breakfasts. Paradoxically, narrow streets of a big city provide shade, so needed in this climate.

Visiting Male added to our anthropology learning in a very interesting way. Male was totally different than local islands, busy, full of shops, markets, monuments, amazing park, cafes, restaurants. And superb exchange rate of USD/MVR compared to islands!

Male is best for a stopover for a night if you have an early flight as the commute to the islands may not make it possible to catch your flight.
When I flew in I was able to catch a ferry to an island I was staying. My flight out was very early in the morning so I had to stay in Male. Very crowded and stressful in my opinion.

Its very easy to go around, was able to walk everywhere, did not need a taxi. I would recommend eating out by the seaside restaurant, they have beautiful views and amazing ambience in the evening. Otherwise, I will not recommend staying in Male if you are on holidays, you can stay in the nearby islands and visit Male late afternoon.

Male is a beautiful, clean and safe city with very warm people around. Lot of small eating places around. Proximity to the local markets as well. Very easy to move around the city by foot, bus transport or taxi. Jetty's are available to visit nearby islands/atolls as well. This holiday in Maldives was most relaxing and chilled out!

The staff were quite helpful with my rides from and to the airport.
The restaurant at the top floor was good and the waiters and waitresses there were friendly. Food was good too and I liked the view of the sea, the airport and the other areas from the rooftop restaurant view and my room.
Location was ideal as a first time visitor to the Maldives as it was only a few minutes drive from the airport while being close to many shops and facilities.
We booked this room for a night to be able to travel to another island in Maldives the next day. The room was comfortable and clean with basic amenities. Salim, the host was exceptional. He came to the airport to meet us and escort us back to the hotel. He also arranged transport for us back to the airport the next day. The room is off the Main Street. Plenty of nice options for food and a few small markets around too. Special thanks to Salim!
SCAM.
It is actually a scam according to the Airport Authority. I booked two rooms and the airport authority didn't accept it and told us to book another authentic hotel and we had to do that to get entry in Maldives. I messaged them immediately for the refund and didn't get any response till now. Don't get fooled by these scam and booking.com also should remove it from the site.
Stayed for one night before our departure from Maldives. Free pick up and drop off arranged without any issues. The hotel is modern, and the room had all the comfort we needed, with a view over the city. We also tried the restaurant on the 10th floor (The Cloud) and were very nicely surprised. Pleasant stay and fully recommended if you have a morning flight from Male.
Small hotel by the sea, suitable for 1 night stay before departure or after arrival to Maldives. Nice view from balcony. Pleasant restaurant on the top floor, very good dinner. Very friendly staff, easy free transfer to the airport.
