Everything is simply amazing. The apartment is spacious and cozy with newly renovated interior. It has everything you might need during your stay. The location is perfect with the place being in a gated community with 24h security on the premises. Supermarket, beaches, boat docks, zoo, and wonderful le Morne mountain are just minutes away by car. William is an amazing host and was very helpful throughout our stay. Thank you very much for a wonderful time. I will definitely book again once we return to Mauritius.

The Riviere Noire area is quite busy and urbanised so it isn't a great location if you want to "get away from it all". However, it has some fabulous restaurants, cafes and bars along with useful shops Bed and breakfast hotel tariffs are a great option since you sample superb Mauritian cuisine away from the hotel. It is also a great location for visiting the Black River Gorge. The beach is OK but the stunning beaches at Le Morne and Flic en Flac are each a 15 minute drive away.
Bonne Chute restaurant is excellent
Also highly recommended - the cafes at Vanilla Village and Kumba

Ok area with some one attraction like snorkelling at the riff, SUP boarding, surfing, kite surfing etc.
Close to le Morne and other destinations. Worth getting a car for the trip as you will be able to travel to restaurants, shops, beaches and waterfalls

The location near the beach was awesome. Shops are nearby and in walking distance from The Bay. The only downside is that it is pretty far from major beaches and restaurants other than one's hotel are hard to find. Good to note that many dinner mauritian restaurants only open at 7pm!

There is nothing much with the village itself but it is a good base for the south east corner, close to Black River Gorges, Le Morne and Tamarin. A handy supermarket and some restaurants (though some that we had planned to visit were closed when we were there). The post office was never opened.

The Riviere Noire location was perfect for families and couples alike - plenty to do within easy access of the area. The location is particularly good for children and their ability to snorkel and swim because of the sheltered swimming and shallow waters. Whilst snorkelling isn't that spectacular there were plenty of fish and different varieties to keep the children happy.
There are also plenty of restaurants, take away food options in addition to good supermarkets.

Amazing.....beautifully relaxing and authentic. Not over run by tourists and lots to see and do. Or you could just bask in the sun all day. Stayed at Mariposa in La Preneuse and the setting was idyllic. Nothing quite like falling asleep to the sound of waves under your window
We very much appreciated the comfort and service, provided by hotel personnel. The room was clean and comfortable, the cleaning regular, the food at the restaurant tasty, and fresh. Wе especially appreciate the assistance provided to my family in organizing sight-seeing and activities. It was just enough to say, what they were interested in and everything was settled for the comfortable excursions and transportation. A strong point is the location. Within 15 minute walk there is a supermarket, and several very decent restaurants.
A very great accommodation. I'm very glad I didn't book into one of the many tourist bunkers. We had triple the space, three times cheaper. The house is directly in the second row to the beach. Since the beach in Mauritius is public everywhere, if we felt like it, we walked 4 minutes to the beach and if we wanted peace and quiet we went back to our villa, with lots of space, surrounded by local houses. I felt very safe in the area. Within walking distance, 5 minutes, are several delicious restaurants and a supermarket.

The place was absolutely fantastic. Spacious apartment, with little pool perfect to cool down and bbq grill on the terrace. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and more! The residence was stunning, peaceful garden on the sea front with beds and pool. Exactly like pictures. There is parking or bus stop 3 min walk. Grocery aprox 10 min walk. The area around tamarind bay is just lovely with chilled vibes. Perfect spot in Mauritius to do hikes and beautiful beaches. Would definitely stayed again!

The best place we have ever stayed in! Incredibly beautiful territory, pool, terrace. Very quiet place, we could only hear the birds singing.
The apartment has everything we needed and even more. The landlords made sure that we had food on the day of arrival. It was very nice to have their care.
We have now moved to the north of Mauritius but look forward to our return to Studio 2 The Waterclub!
We stayed 3 nights at Mariposa and it was a very nice hotel with a great view on Le Morne. Even with a standard garden room, we had a view on the ocean and the sunset from our little terrasse. Good breakfast, private section on the beach, small hotel with not too many guests, close to Chamarel and Le Morne for hiking. Room was spacious, kitchenette available even if we didn’t use it.
I loved everything about this place: close to the beach, close to the supermarket, bus station is in 3 min walk. Hosts was extremely helpful and friendly, property was looking even better that it looks at the pictures. Very clean villa, I felt like I was staying in a classy boutique hotel. My terrace was the best. Just amazing, I would recommend this place to everyone!
My wife and I liked 18 days of vacation in these apartments. Quiet protected complex, convenient location, the apartment is equipped with everything necessary for comfortable stay. Cleaning twice a week. The owner of the apartment Laurence decided all questions with transfer and rent of the car (prices are very acceptable). We had a great holiday on Mauritius.
It was a fantastic place, quiet and peaceful. The houses and the garden were very picturesque and the view to Le Morne fabulous. And the sunset...... The hosts were very helpful and service minded and gave a lot of advices were to go and were to eat. If you want a romantic and quiet place in the south of Mauritius, we strongly recommend this place
Lots of space for a family of 4 to spread out. The pool area over looking the sea was very well maintained by a team of staff every morning with 24h security on site. The large showers had fantastic water pressure. The property was cleaned every 2 days. As we were in Mauritius for 3 weeks having a washing machine was much needed.
Vikshan is an amazing host. Treating you like a family. Very kind, helpful and with connections. She allowed us to use fruits from her garden. You can buy mauritius dinner, which she is preparing herself. Lobster and prawns were huge and delicious, marinated tuna was so delicious that we ask her for recipes.
Staff is amazing; very kind and friendly. Rooms having kitchen helped us a lot. Amazing plants all around; feels like staying in a botanical park. Hotel is not promoting plastic usage; giving you two glass bottles and a refilling station. No useless shampoos, etc. Very much nature oriented.
It’s a small boutique hotel, in a great location with great views. we had a large ocean view room with a big balcony overlooking the beach. it is a great location and hotel for people who are looking for a relaxing stay.
