It’s the perfect accommodation for those wishing to visit the capital, the northern part of the island, and the shopping malls like Bagatelle and Tribeca. A very good option as well for business men looking for something more personal.

We hired a taxi to take us up to the Citadel and around the city. It has some interesting colonial buildings.
We arrived at Port Louis at the end of our cruise - the apartment was not far from the port.
We used the same taxi driver to take us up the Northern Beaches (well worth visiting) and he also drove us to the airport for our flight to Dubai.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Champs De Mars Apartment during my recent short visit to Mauritius, and I can't say enough good things about it! From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the charming and cozy atmosphere that this apartment offers.
First and foremost, the location is fantastic. Situated right next to the iconic Champs De Mars Racecourse, the apartment offers stunning views and a unique atmosphere that you won't find anywhere else on the island. It's also conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to explore all that Mauritius has to offer. Moreover, the apartment's security was excellent.
The apartment itself is impeccably clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The interior design is tasteful and modern, providing a welcoming and homely ambiance. The spacious living area is perfect for relaxation and entertaining, and the kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities you need to prepare your own meals if you wish.
One of the highlights of the Champs De Mars Apartment is the balcony, which overlooks the racecourse. The breathtaking views of the races and the lush greenery are truly a unique experience that adds a special touch to your stay.
The host, Adam is incredibly accommodating and friendly, always ready to assist with any questions or requests you may have. Their warm welcome and local insights enhanced my stay in Port Louis , making it even more memorable.

Traffic in Port Louis is very busy so allow extra time if you need to travel anywhere. You will need consider this when ordering a taxi. There was nothing open near the villa to walk to besides the beach/boat dock area. This was cleaned everyday by the local authority and included toilets.

We stayed in Port Louis for 2 last days in Mauritius.
We stayed in Port Louis for 2 last days in Mauritius. It was wrong. In fact it was enough to visit it for 1 day somewhen in the middle of the trip. Not so much to see there. Water front is beautiful but it is for couple of hours. Peoplel say about Central market but as for me market in Mahebourg is better. So definetely it is worth to visit but without great expectations.

I love the old part of Port Louis at the foot of Signal mountain. Just get a car and go around the little streets looking at the few remaining old colonial houses. Of course do the tourist sites too...
The breakfast was lovely and the option to have omelets was great. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable with a good storage setup to unpack. Mary was an amazing host, accommodating my erratic schedule and sometimes unusual requests. The neighborhood is quiet, but still an easy drive to downtown. Having dinner available at the hotel (extra charge) was very convenient and always delicious. Filtered water is always available in the kitchen. Thanks, Mary and company, for an amazing stay!
Hassle-free checkin as the owner waited for us himself, prearranged with easy WhatsApp communication. Location central in Chinatown and Port Louis, as it is difficult to find another better hotel in the city centre. Everything is new, though located in a vintage building. Minutes away from restaurants, groceries and 15min walk to waterfront mall via the main business area. Owner, his helper and even neighbours are all friendly, helpful and attentive!
exceptionally friendly, comfortable, and delightful hotel. All the staff were fantastic, helpful friendly and it is a very informal lovely relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful location on the coast with a lovely swimming pool. They recommended to me a taxi driver who drove me around for the week; he was absolutely brilliant and I hope that they can pass on to him my gratitude and thanks. I hope he get lots of business from them!
Staff attentive and helpful. Dinners and the pool were great. Breakfast was limited but filled us up. Character of the hotel was terrific, including the rooms and the overall ambience.
The location of the hotel is in a suburban area with little around it but fantastically located if exploring much of Mauritius being midway along the west coast.
Location was close to the Port Louis waterfront and convenient. Adam (Tanzeel) is a great host - friendly, vivacious and most helpful connecting us to his contacts who may be of help whenever needed. He took us around Mauritius as well explaining various places of interest to us. Would definitely recommend.
Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, breakfast was an additional cost but reasonably priced and a good way to start the day with plenty of fresh fruit in addition to bread and an optional omelette. Location ideal for Port Louis - close enough but out of the centre of the city.
Best place for short business trip to Port Louis. Clear, quiet, near to the main public places. Krish was very helpful - meet with driver at the Airport and helped with transfer within the Mauritius during whole our trip. He is the best host ever
The facility was great and central to most places around the island, the host was exceptional! He took time to show us around, brief us on the various sites around and he gave us relevant contacts to get us by. Thank you so much Jude!
I had a great time staying here. The hosts were great and welcoming. It is not a hotel but they did beyond their best to make sure I was well accommodated. I would definitely consider this for when I come back for another vacation.
It's a good place for a short stay if you want to explore Port Louis and surroundings. Don't be scared by the location, you have excellent bus connections to the city, Botanical garden, Sugar Museum. Mirella is a friendly host.
amazing staff - really helpful and friendly .
great sushi bar and atmosphere on restaurant with live music - close to the town with small free boat ride . great stop off to see Port Louis but would want a weeks holiday here .
Great location in the Chinatown area of Port Louis. My room was extra spacious with two large windows allowing sunshine in and city views out. Every amenity you would need. Great WiFi.
A nice hotel and very good food at dinner. I stayed only one night unfortunately. Friendly staff and helpful as well. It was on a beach but it wasnt much of a beach.
