Proximity to the beach & shops could be a little closer but there was a daily shuttle service provided.
The staff were really helpful and always friendly and made you feel welcome.
I asked for a ground floor room and this was provided.

We liked everything: the warm hospitality, the cleanliness of the place and the atmosphere. The owners are incredible nice and very natural. Le Mandala is near to the best beach of the island, much better than Flic en Flac. It is also very near to very good restaurants, especially Luigi in the Mall. As a whole, we felt like at home. We recommend Le Mandala super super warmly.

First of all hosts Sabina and Eve are extremely responsible, solution oriented,providing fast and seamless support.
The place is spacious, the details are nice and thought.
Don't think that something is missing all are there just look for it .
Matches, mosquito repellents (all sorts) in every room ,kitchen , living room.Electric adapters of different types as well.
Large kitchen with a nice large wooden table for 8 ,double door ice machine fridge and most kitchen tools are there for your convenience.
I like to use it all, when I want that's why I choose entire homes instead of hotels.
All sorts of tools in the garden and garage area(for 2 cars ) if you are that type.There is also a fishing rod :)
You can rent both cars for a very good rate one is automatic and one is Manuel (mini cooper and a Toyota ) both are ok for 4-5 pax
BBq is sufficient enough for 6-8.We have left a full pack charcoal for the next DIY lovers :)
Garden is nice we liked the trees, lovely colourfull birds tweeting around all day.
The pool area is convenient.Pool is not deep and might not be OK for all swimmer groups and families but enough for morning baths,cooling after walks around.
Location was the important choice for us since we like Point De Cannonier.Mont Choisy beach is near by and for us it's the place we prefer to be.
2 small but get whatever you want local markets are just in a walking distance ( real walking distance 5-7 mins walk with kid ) One of them provides all sorts of sauces, duck , steaks, pâtes etc. the other one is full of everything you may need ,dont forget to look carefully or just ask since Vana is a small market but packed with lots of things including alcohol .I liked both Vana and Bazaar Cannonier markets.
Grand Baie is close and you can find restaurants up to your taste or take aways.
Walk slow, take your time to feel and live .Stop taking selfies for an hour,don't schedule 10 things in a day.

Seapoint boutique hotel is really nice the staff their were veeeeery friendly especially the manager Kiven provided us with all the help, the receptionist Nabsha she made our stay in the hotel so enjoyable and easy and my wife was very happy to deal with her she helped us with even with the other outer services other than our stay in the hotel.The food was outstanding all the meals was extremely Delicious 😋

I like everything the location, room, ambiance, cleanliness, complimentary stuff. Above all Matt (Manager/owner) and Yash, they both were extremely helpful. Dropped us couple of times to our destinations. Guided us and provided valuable feedback for our queries. Bala Bala.... I think 9.3 rating is underestimated rating, it should be somewhere 9.8 or may say 10 as I also had the experience of number of 5 star hotels of different locations.
The hotel is just perfect! The room, food, beach, everything was above expectations. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, we’ve got upgrade to suite free of charge, breakfast room delivery was free as well, even after breakfast hours :) Special thanks to Kevin, the manager, you are fantastic!

Fantastic and personal service from each member of staff, boutique small hotel feeling and wonderful food, if you want to avoid the larger impersonal resorts it's a great little hideaway in a beautiful part of the island. We especially appreciated them going out of their way to prepare gluten-free off menu meals for my wife who is coeliac.
The hotel is located right on the beach with beautiful views. We were well looked after by very friendly hardworking staff. The food was delicious with great breakfasts every morning. On our last night the hotel put on some drinks on the beach which was a nice touch. Thank you for a great stay seapoint hotel!
Breakfast was great, staff are very attentive and remember breakfast order after a few days. The facilities were very clean and all COVID measures were followed. We wish it was easier to walk into Grand Baie, the hotel is secluded from town by foot. Overall a great experience and would definitely return.
The staff is very welcoming, and polite, ready to help with whatever you need. The overall atmosphere is cosy, that of a boutique hotel. I really liked the breakfast with fresh omlettes and pancakes. They have a very nice pool with dark turquoise granite rocks. The rooms are spacious and clean.
Staff, hotel, fascilities, breakfast, pool. Actually everything around the hotel. The only thing to think through is getting a moped/car since you need to be mobile to reach to nearest beaches. Salute to the hotel manager and his staff. All were doing exceptionell work.
I was very happy with my stay at maison du nord, the hotel was lovely and in a good location ,the manager and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful, my room was cleaned daily and the buffet breakfast was excellent, I would recommend this hotel 100%
A really cute and well maintained hotel, in a very piece full and charming neighbourhood. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the garden is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and very clean. Highly recommended. Few minutes walk to the beach only.
The room was a spacious for one person. There is a private kitchen so I cooked instant food when I was lazy to go out at night.
Also, a swimming pool is great. It was very hot so I enjoyed the pool when I came back to the hotel.

The location of the hotel is not directly perfect, but it is very accessible. It is close to many restaurants, the beach is just a walk away and it is in a calm neighborhood.
Very nice hotel with extremely spacious room and changing area, modernized and clean, in the nice neighborhood of les Cannoniers (easy to reach with a car). Would recommend!
We enjoyed our stay there. Nice staff, quiete rooms, good to relax. In order to reduce plastic we would recommend that the hotel installs a drinking water dispenser.
