The Hotel is really nice, room was very clean and spacious and the staff extremely friendly! Breakfaat was fabulous, and also all the other food we had in their restaurant. They gave us instructions about sights around. All recommendations!

The host, Elena, she was very friendly and helpful. She advised us the route and places to visit depending on the wether conditions. Breakfast was amazing with homemade bread and jam (she always asked what would you like for breakfast and changed the menu). The apartment was also lovely and comfortable. Especially, we liked the fireplace.

The town is just a starting point for all sort of adventures, there's nothing to say about it - just hotels and restaurants, but the Black Lake is within a walking distance, and lots of other beautiful places are around.

Žabljak is the perfect place for hiking lovers.
There are plenty of options around for all kinds of levels. Be advised that crossing the national park from Sedlo to Žabljak over Bobotov Kuk is harder than what it seems on paper! That was my first hike there and I completed it but was really tired afterwards and did finish in the dark. The face of Bobotov Kuk that is in the direction of Žabljak is made of loosse rock and is quite steep. Bear that in mind.
Card acceptance is half and half, so bring enough cash just in case.
3 hiking routes recommendations:
1) Bobotov Kuk (choose based on your level and experience, and START EARLY!)
2) Chill stroll around the lakes (Black, Green and Brown) to let the legs rest
3) Planinica hike, beautiful views according to reviews (I had to turn back halfway due to rain, again, START EARLY).

The environment in Zabljak is overwelming.
The environment in Zabljak is overwelming. The mountains are stunning and beautiful. It’s great to walk/hike (bring sturdy shoes), but we also liked the rafting on Tara river very much. Expect no big rapids in summer, but it was a tremendous beautiful trip through the canyon. We loved it!

Zabliak is beautifully situated right next to the Durmitor National Park which is the main attraction - and to be honest - the only attraction. The place is not particularly beautiful and the many construction sites do not give reason to expect that it will soon become more beautiful. There are some restaurants that have adapted to the tourists, i.e. moderate service and comparatively high prices. The place markets itself as a hiker's paradise, but offers only comparatively few hiking trails. A big annoyance are the quads that drive around everywhere, even in the national park and can negatively affect the hiking holiday in the long term.
The Durmitor National Park is very beautiful and the drive on the Durmitor Ring scenic road is highly recommended.
Very warm welcome by Alex who was always ready to help with anything. The appartment itself is on the second floor of the house, everything is made of wood, so we were concerned about disturbing the downstairs neighbours but noone was there. The bedrooms are comfortable, the kitchen / living room is small but has pretty much everything one might need for a comfortable few-night stay. Very good wifi. Nice view over Zabljak and Durmitor range, very close to shops and restaurants.
Great location in center of Zabljak, the main town to stay for activities in Durmitor national park. Hosts were lovely - so friendly and helpful. Room was large and clean, nice private bathroom, and there was even a mini fridge in the hallway which was great for us to store breakfast and lunch foods. Price was excellent. There’s also a nice shared terrace to have breakfast or coffee. Overall perfect stay for our two nights. Would highly recommend!
We loved our stay here. It looks better than on the photos! The location is great (15 minutes from Zabljak) and the house has all amenities needed (it also comes with washing powder, dishwasher soap etc.). The cottage easily fits 4 people. We didn’t have great weather so it was nice to have some space.
Communication is easy through booking.com or WhatsApp is easy. At night it is gloriously quiet - no roosters or other animals that wake you up.
Amazing location in the heart of Zabljak, close to the bus station, all shops and restaurant and 3km walking to Black Lake in Durmitor National Park. Welcoming and very kind owner. Beautiful house with little but cosy fireplace. Comfortable beds upstairs. Little terrace perfect to have breakfast and morning coffee in the sun. Lovely cats are visiting quite often (one even slept with us). Highly recommend!
The location is just perfect-away from the road, the last house in the row. It takes a couple of minutes to get to Žabljak or to Savin kuk. The house is quite new, fresh, the linen is clean, the pillows are new, the kitchen has all that you may need. The owners are friendly and english-speaking. The property has a small bbq. The stairs are safe for kids (we travelled with 3 and 6 y.o.)
Lovely clean and spacious apartment. nice balcony to have breakfast everyday and plenty of space to hang up washing. car parking in front. 10min walk (2min drive) from zabljak town centre with shops and restaurants, 15min walk to durmitor national park entrance. A stunning location. Maria and her family were so welcoming, the cheese burek pie on the last night was delicious!
Hosts are wonderful, ready to help. 💕Accommodation was very good, with two separate rooms, clean, warm and cosy. We were here with a baby, so we get an extra crib in the bedroom. Nature and surrounding are magnificent, and view from the terrace was breathtaking. We would definitely come here again and recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Zabljak. 😊
Staying at Rada’s is like staying at your grandma’s home. A quiet place with a great view of the mountains and good food made with ingredients from the garden or from a local farm.
The house is just a few kilometers from the Durmitor park, the Black lake and Zabljak. Further south lays the Nevidio canyon.
Quiet room in the center of Zabljak, great base to visit the Durmitor and all the surroundings. Our hosts have been super welcoming and gave us lots of useful tips for our stay, including hiking in the Durmitor and rafting in Tara river. Would love to come back again!
