We absolutely loved the hotel. Great location - right next to the sea, lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. And no loud sounds at night - so we were sleeping like angels there.
Beach front property, we were enjoying watching fish in the sea right next to hotel. Water is clean. Convenient that you can order drinks right from your sunbed (and price is good, i would say even great compared to some other places around).
Sunbeds and umbrellas are free for hotel guests. At first day we showed staff member our sunbed pass and he remembered us till the end of our stay (so we did not need to show him the pass again).
Good breakfast. But if you want coffee, you pay for it (their coffee is amazing though; and tea/juice/milk are included into breakfast). My favorite local dish - gibanica was served every day, which I'm especially thankful for :-)
Restaurant downstairs works till late, and every single dish we ordered was great. Seafood risotto was tasty even the following day cold out of the fridge (I took leftovers with me). Portions are huge.

Our apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable with great terrace and sea view. The swiming pool was clean and refreshing and we enjoyed it greatly. Parking provided on hotel property was a plus. are free public conveniences - adjacent to a public park.
Route 1 does not serve the bus station but Route 2 does. The town is
renown for its steps but I found the route between the main square
and the bus station less challenging than central routes in other towns.
An advantage is that the main streets flow with the contours and are
gentle when moving between them.
Towns do not excite me and I did not explore in any depth but I sense
that this town has resisted the onslaught of homogeneity and that it
has managed to survive economically. I even saw one building with a
"Red Star" flag from the former Yugoslavia.

You have to be fit fo you to visit all the city (a lot of steps). The food was amazing, sometimes it’s cheaper to go to a restaurant than to cook yourself at home.
No matter which side of Herceg Novi you are, you have splendid views. If you like to go hiking you can do that too, and when you get to the top you get mesmerised.

Herceg Novi is great if you don't want something extreme tourist like Kotor. The long walking boulevard along the seaside offers many bars, restaurants and beaches. You'll find a wide range of accommodations from fancy hotels to hostels and many vacation flats. I had a nice dinner twice at Yacht Club Restaurant along the boulevard. Top service, reasonable prices and a beautiful view. Keep in mind though that most of the city is built uphill so plenty of climbing to do.

The town is beautiful and the landscape is more beautiful. The bay of Kotor is very imposing. Budva is like Amerika when somebody like this it must not fly a lot. The transport is horrible but I know between the mountain is impossible to build highways.

Traveling by bus is comfortable and very cheap. 1 euro, but sometimes very crowded, especially in the evening.

We visited the old town and drank a very good traditional coffee. A very nice city with many restaurants, a central park and a multitude of shops for all tastes. I recommend you to visit the city in the morning, if you are in the summer season, because the temperatures are lower.
The room was fabulous, especially the view of the bay. The location is great and the beach in front of the hotel is one of the nicest in the vicinity, the sea water is clean and the whole place is just beautiful. About half an hour's easy walk along the coast to Herceg Novi Old Town. Good options for breakfast. The swimming pool is not the size for actual swimming, but great for kids to splash around. The staff were wonderful, always very helpful and kind, especially at the reception.
Hospitality, availability and kindness, Slobodan (host) was opened for any additional requests and every agreement was respected. We felt like home there from the very start. Place (Njivice) is very peaceful and quiet, so there is a real holiday resting. However, if somebody wants night life or more happening during day, Igalo and Herceg Novi are just across the bay, 10 mins of driving. This place has my recommendation for sure.
Already reviewed the Hotel Novi several times and my mind is unchanged- I like staying in the hotel and will continue to do so. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are nice and the hotel is well located (all of this mentioned in previous reviews). If you want an alternative to being in Herceg Novi, but being nearby, this is the right location. Good restaurants nearby and on the beach
I would recommend staying at hotel Maksim. The breakfast is great, the location is amazing. Beach is near the hotel, there are different shops and also you can walk to old town Herceg Novi. Also there is a bus station right across the road and the bus takes you directly to the city center. Also, Portonovi is close. The staff was super helpful and the hotel is very clean and new.
Our experience is amazing, and we would definitely love to come back. The hotel was just great. The rooms were clean, spacious, private, and safe. The stuff was professional, helpful, carrying, and friendly above all. The food was excellent and delicious.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location in Herceg-Novi! The private beach/jetty was perfect. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Big shout out to the restaurant manager Nikola who was excellent at catering for my gluten-free diet every evening for dinner. Would recommend this hotel to all coming for a relaxing stay in Montenegro.
The view from the hotel is amazing, especially from the main restaurant and beach. The kids club was great, the kids absolutely loved it! The staff were all very friendly. And the food was pretty good for such a hotel. Also really enjoyed the shuttle boat that goes straight from the hotel to the old town of Herceg Novi.
Stopped over on a soggy bike tour. Accommodations were very luxurious. At first there was some problem with storing the bikes inside but with some negotiation we managed to get them inside. Hotel bar/restaurant was pretty good. Solid clean comfy hotel. Walking distance to a little market. Great place for a stopover.
Pretty and modern B&B at the waterfront in Herceg Novi in the old train station, where they keep the train theme throughout the property. Everything was clean and comfortable and our room had an amazing view over the bay. Breakfast was served a la carte with a lot of delicious options, where the quality was great.
Hotel Garni Bokeška is a perfect little gem! Great location very close to the beaches, in walking distance to the old town of Herceg Novi and with beautiful views of the bay. The owner, Boco, was a wonderful host - very sweet and helpful. The homemade breakfast with local specialities was also a nice surprise!
Everything was great, location is super, the beach is in front of the apartment. Many restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets are close to the property. If its not One & Only then dont bother visiting Montenegro. Your stay is only complete if you stay here. Its a beautiful property. From the room to the bathroom to the comfortable bed and all the other amenities in the hotel. The staff are very courteous. The SPA and hair salon is a must try.
Location was great, and staff was very kind. Room was nice size and clean. Beach was also conveniently located and attached to the hotel's restoran at the front. Food was very good. Parking was available and staff helped us park our car that were bit longer for the spot I parked.
