Almost didn't book this hotel due to some bad reviews but so glad I did. Had a lovely stay, staff were great and the food was lovely.
This modern hostel in peaceful green surroundings overlooks a lake which is ideal for kayaking and diving. Lultzhausen includes a cafeteria, communal lounges and free Wi-Fi in the public areas.
Offering river views, Fellow Du Nord is an accommodation situated in Goebelsmuhle, 49 km from Luxembourg Train Station and 16 km from National Museum of Military History.
It's a good base for the area. The castle with the brewery, museum and Battle of the Bulge museum were interesting (1/2 a day max). Its worth climbing the tower for the view.
There's a enough bars & restaurants to offer variety for a few days.
We're not hikers, so no idea on that.

A pleasant little town - good for a relaxing weekend but don't expect too much in way of shops - castle and museum is nice as it the Parc de Wiltz. The restaurant at the hotel is great and we were able to sit in the garden, good food and wine choices.. great service.
The included breakfast is good even by Luxembourg hotel standards. I recommend dinner in the hotel restaurant, both for the wine-cellar ambiance and because the food is good. The wine selection is small but excellent. My bathroom was en suite and included a spa tub. My room had the good feel of a bedroom in a house, and not an antiseptic hotel room. Overall I got the feel that I might have been staying in a classic travelers' inn of two centuries ago - but with good food, hot water, and a comfortable bed.
The hotel is very well modernised, boutique style modern decor, very clean, very comfortable and the staff from the onset were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed just the one night, passing through Wiltz but would have stayed a couple of nights in the village had time allowed. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice and lovely, good quality coffee. The room was very nice with enough space and warm and cosy and the bathrooms are very smart. Wiltz is a lovely little town for a stopover.
We stayed at the hotel in December, on our way back home. We were looking for a hotel with a restaurant so that we didn't need to go out after a long day of driving. Although we arrived later than expected, the restaurant accomodated us. We had a great (pre- Christmas) dinner. The food was excellent and the waiter very friendly.
The hotel had been renovated recently and everything looked new. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was also abundant.
The welcome was friendly and I instantly felt relaxed. In a quiet location by a river, free parking was available right outside the hotel. My room was large, the bed very comfortable and I had the best night's sleep in a long time. A fantastic service is to make the indoor swimming pool exclusively available for 40 minutes, and you can rent towels and bathrobes. Dinner was fabulous, and breakfast was good. I would happily stay here again.
Great hotel! It has old charm with a modern update. We stayed in the family loft. There was more than enough space for our family The restaurant downstairs was amazing!
There is a grocery store across the street, and the tourist information center is right behind the hotel. The beer and war museum is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Castle view from our room.
Wiltz is a beautiful small town in the north of Luxembourg - we had never been here before, and we found it lovely. The hotel was beautiful and immaculate; our room was spacious and comfortable and came with a beautiful deck; our breakfast was fabulous -wonderful Luxembourg bread and FARM BUTTER TO DIE FOR. We’d go back in a minute. Highly recommend!!!
The hotel staff were all very welcoming and friendly, and we received a free upgrade to our room. The beds were comfy and the hotel has ample parking available. We slept great after our hiking trip and enjoyed a great breakfast the next morning.
The hotel is located in a very cute town. There are a few things to explore around there and it's a great location for day trips all around Luxembourg, if you have a car. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly.
