The location is fantastic, right in front of the Trakai lake and castle. The building is nice, vintage style and cured in the details. The staff at the reception was really kind and helpful. This hotel is perfect to rest, relax and walk around the beautiful surroundings! Very nice experience

A lovely, clean apartment with a well-furnished kitchen, 15 minutes on foot from the castle. The lake is just two minutes away, even if you can't see it from the window. The host is very reactive and kind.

We got held up earlier in the day so arrived after the castle had closed. The best we could do was a sunset walk around the castle (which was pretty, but not the same as touring inside). Unfortunately our schedule dictated an early departure the following day. Will need to go back.

I liked the place but a taxi is not available all the time and if there is it costs too much for example for 5 minutes it costs 15 euros and we had no option but to pay also Bolt app to ride 95% of the time you can't find a ride

Trakai is a super relaxing place to visit.
Trakai is a super relaxing place to visit. Many do it as a day trip from Vilnius, but I spent four nights there. The weather was glorious so there was a boat trip, swimming and plenty of walking. I was there to explore the Karaim and their culture. The castle museum is certainly worth a visit.

It is a small town and during summer the place is packed. The beach front is full with restoranes and it is not easy to get a table. When you go to the other side of the streat it is much easier to find a table and I suspect, that the food even might be better. The lake is full with different atractions to chose from and all not very expensive. The castle is a place you must see, even if the ticket is a bit expensive. The stores we found were little and not much variety in food or drinks.. I was there for one day only, surely more days are needed in order to explore everything.
Location just a few minutes walking from Trakai castle....in the attic of an old historic Trakai house. Check in was easy through simple instructions via telephone. Appartment is big with many rooms, everything working perfect including Wifi and hot water. Private parking available in the neighbor's backyard for 5€ per day. Nothing to complain.
If you want to have a direct view on Trakai Castle, but at the same time be in calm region of the city, this the best place to go. Its located on the other side of the lake than city center - so evenings are calm. Byt you need ust a 10 minutes walk to reach the main promenade. The apartment itself is big and fully equipped includign dish washer and clothing washer.
Excellent location. Half an hour walking or couple of minutes by car from Trakai (if you park and walk accross footbridges), while away from touristic noises. Really nice and calm place.

Exceptional breakfast included freshly baked bread with jam/butter/olives, eggs/omelette, and drinks (juice, teas, coffee). Very tasty!
Location is perfect in walking distance to everything, views of the castle, and parking onsite.
Windows were soundproofed so noise from restaurant was not a problem, and AC worked well.
Location was excellent, in city centre, within walking distance to all the main objects and the castle. The host was very responsive and welcoming, immediately helped us with any questions or issues we had. The apartment has its own style and personality, in overall a very convenient place for a family stay in Trakai.
Self check-in, perfect place, perfectly simple Lithuanian homestead in the city. Parking right next to the door. We chose it just for a sleepover, however it's fine for chilling in Trakai for more nights and days for those who aren't five-star-hotel-princesses.
Great location next to the lake, enough parking spaces, small but very comfort hotel, extremely friendly and helpful staff, small but tasteful selection of food, great breakfast buffet, SPA area is pretty small but clean with free water and tea. Will come again
Apart from some minor things we did not like, we generally enjoyed our stay.
The hotel staff was helpful and polite. SPA was good as well, but some of the devices in SPA/Pool zone seemed outdated with some of the equipment needing maintenance
Such a beautiful property! Idyllic! The family room was huge! The location was picturesque and the hotel matched it perfectly! The lady running the place was very nice. I had a wonderful stay and I would love to stay there again! Thank you :)
Fantastic View especially late afternoon & sunset time. Pull armchair to window, hv a drink to enjoy castle view from attic space. The ONLY room of all lakeside hotels with direct view to island castle.

Great place. Excellent host. Very convenient if coming by train as train station near and there are few taxis in Trakai. No train noise despite being near the train station. Beautiful room.
Location. Tasty Benedict eggs for breakfast (we ordered room with breakfast). There was 3 parking places (if the parking is full, you've to park outside the hotel)

Location is very good. There is a grocery store near by and very good restaurant called Senkelio Karčema. It is a 30 min walk to old town or 5 min drive.
