A beautiful oasis. Very clean and new-feeling location, felt private and quiet. The bedroom was extremely clean, the bed was big and very comfortable, bedding was great, the air conditioning was excellent, shower was great. Walking distance from Kalkudah beach (not for swimming), very quick tuktuk to Pasikuda beach. Excellent food and juices, excellent staff. Best pool in Sri Lanka, swimming under the stars was magical. Many fruits, vegetables, and spices grown on the property. Amazing, caring staff.

I think the main reason to go to Pasikuda is for the beach...
I think the main reason to go to Pasikuda is for the beach which is beautiful, with white sand and clear water, and where it is safe to swim. Beyond that there is not much to see - I had the impression the area is quite poor and there are not many restaurants outside the ones in the hotels.

We could not have wished for a better or more relaxing venue...
We could not have wished for a better or more relaxing venue for a much needed week of R&R. Although not quite “off the beaten track” this is pretty close to it. Everything here exudes calm and relaxation. A place to shed stress, we loved it.

Beautiful beaches, magnificent vegetation.
Beautiful beaches, magnificent vegetation. There are sea- front resorts, but you can walk freely on the beach.
Beware that secluded (not tendered) beaches may have plastic rubbish brought by waves in windy season.

We only had 1 night but enjoyed the beach and went swimming.
We only had 1 night but enjoyed the beach and went swimming. The cattle roam on the beach so there is a lot of cow pads on the sand but if you can find a clear spot on the sand to lay your towel this is a lovely beach.
