My stay was spectacular. I stayed here for a week, then returned for another 1.5 weeks. Benjamin easily accommodated my last minute request for a much needed early check in, as well as my last min booking for the second stay. I had the room on the top floor. It was beautiful and exactly like the pics. The AC worked very well and I could control it. The bathroom was very clean and nice, which is really my only requirement for a residence. The bed was super comfy and I really appreciated that there was a proper duvet. I also really like that there was a good hair dryer and it even had the attachments! Padmini and Gamini were wonderful hosts, and made me a fantastic breakfast every morning. This hotel started to feel like home. It is a few min walking distance to a small and modern shopping complex which has a good grocery store, a pharmacy, a Subway, Baskin Robbins, and Popeyes. It is a few mins walk from Mount Lavinia hotel and the beaches. The road can get a little dark at night, but I felt safe. It was very easy to call an Uber and it was walking distance to the main road, where Hotel Rd meets Dehiwala.

And the host was great at checking in to see if I was okay and if I needed anything. The home is also located near the beach is amazing and close to various amenities which is great. Even With the shared kitchen and dinning area, the home still offered the needed privacy during my stay. I'd come back if I get the chance to visit Sri Lanka again

I really liked the area, beautiful large beach. The hotel I stayed at were really professional and great value for money. There are quite a few places to eat around but during this time many places were closed due to the escalation of the Corona Virus. They do offer water sport activities around the area but it was just nice to have some peace.
The people around do love to try and sell you items even when you say no, so be adamant and don't entertain them.

It is a lovely and famous, coastal area in the capital. However, beach-front properties are often fully booked and are expensive. The area is quite safe for anyone. The beach is beautiful, but locals don't recommend dipping in the sea here as it is considered too polluted.
I had a wonderful time at The Lion Pub & Hotel. The cleanliness and comfort were outstanding, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout. Plus, having their own pub on-site was a definite highlight. Moreover, there is a food city right across the street, which was very convenient. Additionally, I must commend their excellent room service, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend The Lion Pub & Hotel for a comfortable and convenient experience!
This apartment is owned and operated by Mr. Raj I have been a guest there for some years, the hospitality this gentleman offers is second to none, specially those so called full service and star class ones every time I stay there I was beyond satisfied and being treated like a royalty, this is a true with all, I highly recommend and guarantee personally if you need accommodation in Colombo too look for it

An ideal place if you need to stay in Colombo. I didn't expect the place to be so peaceful and quiet, considering its central location near the main road. I liked everything:
- Location;
- Stable internet;
- Fully equipped kitchen;
- Spacious common area;
- Balcony in the evenings;
- Super helpful modern family.
I was really lucky to find such a place and in the end felt like home there.
I had a great stay at the Mount Bay Guest House. The room and bathroom were very clean and spotless.It was large and air-conditioned, and had a balcony. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is situated near the beach, restaurants on the beach.
I definitely recommend this accommodation and would stay there again if I visited Sri Lanka again in the future.
We absolutely loved the stay here. Best place in Mount Lavinia to have a peaceful stay . Spotless clean , spacious and comfortable . Staff is very helpful , specially the manager Mr. Shane is a wonderful person and he always seemed to go out of his way to help his guests. Just 100 meters away is the gorgeous Mt. Lavinia beach. Best value for money . We would highly recommend this place
No breakfast. Location is a little bit far away from Colombo center, so from IVS Global which undertake indian visas for the
lazy indian diplomats...Very quiet at night and wonderful birds in the garden. You understand why Sri Lanka has birds
printed on every banknote.

Having previously stayed in many big hotels in SL this one is almost up there with them.i understand the situation is not great and not many tourists, but overall it was very comfortable loved the beds, shower, etc. Lovely staff especially the room staff. All good and they did do their best that's all you can ask for , will stay there again.
This is our favourite place to start or end a Sri Lanka journey. We´ve been here before. It´s close to the beach, short walk to Mount Lavinia, but also close to Colombo city.
The rooms a spacious, very good beds, but the badrooms are incredible.

Extremely clean, everything smelt so nice! Beds were so comfortable and the hosts were so lovely. There was a washing machine, spot to hang clothes to dry, and a full sized fridge which were all super handy. One of our nicest stays in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend.
Really lovely small hotel in mount lavinia. Everything is really clean and its quit. The Busstop for going to colombo city is just 3 minutes walking distance. Also the Beach and many restaurants are close by.

I stopped for a night on my way down south, so it made sense to stop in Mount Lavinia. The property is close to the beach and there are decent food places nearby.
