This is a very private, hidden-away location in walking distance to the National Park. In fact, you can't get closer by staying anywhere else--and this means you save time by getting to sleep in during the morning. The host and owner, Leel, doesn't speak much English, but uses Google Translate to always help. The rooms have the best A/C, and with only a few bedrooms on the property, it's very private and great for bird-watching. Simple, efficient, and relaxing.

The food was great, packed a brilliant lunch for our safari. Anton organised a safari for us and provided binoculars and reference books. The staff were lovely and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them.

The room was really nice and had a great view outside. The manager was getting us a sun umbrella because there was none, which was very courteous. All the personal was very friendly towards us.

We stayed 2 nights in the tree house. The staff in this place was amazing, they went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests (and we've had a lot of questions ). Delicious and affordable food, big portion to fill your belly after a game drive. The location is right next to the national park. The room is comfortable, but not the fanciest, with mosquito net on the lower bed. The terrace was amazing, you can see squirrels, monkeys, hornbills flying around, and even during heavy rain you can rest and relax outside. You can organize game drives directly from here, with a private safari 4x4, half day or full day for affordable prices. Thank you so much for having us!

Our host was really kind, helpful and attentive, he arranged for us the Wilpattu National park private tour in jeep and a great dinner at the private terrasse of our house. Our host also organized and drove us to Sigiriya. He is the kindest host and person we met in Sri Lanka since we arrived. We highly recommend this private lovely house and would be pleased to stay again in a next trip !

Room was great, dinner was great. Wasn't the biggest fan of the breakfast or the packed lunch for the excursion. But the excursíon in the national park was great and easy arranged by the owner.

Our stay at Green Sapphire was exactly as expected, and right next to the National Park. This was very handy as the morning Safari's require you get up at 5:30 to get there as early as possible as it takes some time to get into the heart of the park. Our host Dylan was very communicative and will make sure you are comfortable during your stay. We stayed for 1 night and were provided a sizeable dinner including curry, kotthu and more - required after a long day out on the Safari. The room was clean, and had all the amenities you need to be comfortable. The safari itself was excellent, even though we did not see the famous leopards there was a bevy of other animals that we were equally happy to spot. Lunch was provided and you will not go hungry as we had more than enough food for the long day out. Our driver was an excellent guide and was probably more dissapointed than we were to not spot a leopard. Bring lots of water and sunscreen!

The property and tents are beautiful and the food is fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful. The setup at night is absolutely magical with fire and lamps everywhere.

This is the best stay to visit the National Park. The dinner was the best food we had so far. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The Farm House is very clean and very modern. We got picked up at the farm house for the safari. The entrance of the national park is right next to the house. It is a little bit pricey but absolutely worth it. We paid for two nights, two breakfast, two one of the best Dinner, half day safari with private Jeep and Ranger (we saw leopards, elephant's, bears and a lot more), a lot of Bottles of Water, for two person's around 150$. Which is absolutely worth it. Thank you and Cheers
