My brother and I had the pleasure of staying at the Royal Majesty Bungalow for one night. Situated amidst the lush greenery of Ireby tea estate, the bungalow offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxing getaway.
We opted for the old bungalow, which exuded a charm of its own. The tranquility of the surroundings was truly remarkable, allowing us to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty around us.
The service and hospitality we received were exceptional. Rumzi, the manager, deserves special mention for his excellent customer service skills. He made sure that we felt welcomed and attended to all our needs promptly. The rest of the staff, including Shaga, Nandu, and the chef (I believe his name is Gunarathnam), were all friendly and attentive, adding to the overall warmth of the place.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the food. We savored a delightful dinner featuring Naan, Chicken Korma, and Vegetable Korma. The Vegetable Korma, in particular, was a standout with its rich and flavorful taste. The English breakfast we had was also delicious and served as a perfect start to our day.
In terms of value for money, the Royal Majesty Bungalow exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable stay amidst nature's tranquility.
We left with a desire to return for a longer stay, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the peaceful environment and the exceptional hospitality of the Royal Majesty Bungalow. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
