This is a brand new hotel and the caretaker and owner made sure our stay was extremely comfortable. The brand new AC unit in our room did not work but it was no trouble for them to give us a different room where the AC worked perfectly.
The kitchen facilities were great ti enable us to prepare a simple breakfast although a toaster would have been a great addition and washing up liquid too.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the location was great.

Excellent location. It’s right on the beach. Our room was on ground floor and the balcony door opened straight to the beach.
The beach is very less crowded and you can chill and relax with your loved one without any disturbance.
The owners (Chathu and Ishaan) are very cordial and they helped us with everything. They also gave me their Kayak and I had a good fun taking kayak to the ocean.
Breakfast is hugeeee and delicious.
Wi-fi : is Available. The router was located just outside our room and we enjoyed strong wifi even on beach.

Ambalamgodas is near Galle so you can visit the famous beaches. It's most famous for the wooden masks. I like a pizza place called Ceylon Pizza. Very tasty and you can also take it away! My favourite beach is Hikkaduwa. I also loved bird watching and ridiubg to bird island to meet my favourite monk!

A small village with an unforgettable local flavor. The fruit and fish market always works, even on weekends. Ambalangoda has everything you need, pharmacies, supermarkets, banks and currency exchanges. And the most important thing is the large uninhabited beaches.
Our stay was absolutely amazing. great first stop in Sri Lanka. doubting if something will top this.
the view is stunning, people are so nice, speak good English and provide all the service you need.
the apartment looks in our view better than on the pictures, authentic and spacious. we stay with our child of almost 2, great place for such a journey as well.
Beautiful clean spacious bedrooms and bathrooms Staff are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay an experience to remember. The pool and garden is beautifully maintained. The beach is lovely and quiet. Delicious breakfast.
Breakfast was a highlight - fresh fruit, tons of toast and light and fluffy Sri Lankan omelette with just right amount of spicing. Service was delivered with humour and style. A hit !
Beach was close to the hotel and was with easy access...turtle care centers all around and you can go watch them. Location was next to the main town so getting supplies wa easy...
