Too many things to do in Seoul, how I wish I could stay longer. The food, shoppings, and view. Ppali ppali culture is real. The transportation system is the best. Young people can speak English, so better to ask young people when you're there. Olive Young will make you broke you haha. The meats in Street foods are premium, l love it. I will definitely go back.
Cafes are everywhere and are very aesthetic.

Coex mall was also a fun place to spend your time shopping and relaxing. Seoul is definitely a place to visit for its culture, food and shopping.

Seoul is a wonderful city. There are so many places of interest to visit and it is easy to get around because the transport system is very efficient and it's easy to walk around also. The local people are exceptionally helpful and very quick to give directions etc.

Fabulous city - great food choices, shopping, art, ancient temples and palaces are so beautiful. Great shopping, fabulous convenience stores, many fun activities such as photo booths, games cafes, cafe culture, the list could go on. There are many neighbourhoods to explore. Seoul is also a late night city and felt very safe as a solo female traveller.
Travel is very easy and reasonable (buy a T money card) on metro/trains and plenty of trains to travel all over Korea even at short notice.
The hotel is within walking distance from the heart of Myeongdong. One of the best features of this hotel is its convenient proximity to an airport bus stop. This made our early morning departure at 4:30 am for an 8 am flight hassle-free. Additionally, the staff at the hotel kindly assisted with bringing our luggage to the room upon check-in. One thing I really liked about this hotel was the big windows which made the room very bright.

After experiencing some noise from the room next door, the kind man working the night shift did all he could to ensure our comfort. He moved us up to the 10th floor , which meant the rest of our stay was perfect!

Really accommodating and friendly staff, even though some morning staff have limited English, they do all they can through translator!
The host was there at the building and helped us check in. Otherwise - I think this is one of the best, if not the best place to stay in Gangnam/Southern Seoul. Conveniently located next to Starfield and one of the main metro stations, it's such a great value for money. It was near the end of our 10 days in Korea so we took advantage of the washing machine as well to wash some of our clothing. Very comfy bed as well.
We were pleasantly surprised at how large the rooms at Hotel Amare were. The location is very convenient and sits in between all the major sightseeing/shopping areas like Ikseon-dong, Myeongdong, Gwang Jang Market, Hongdae and Gangnam. The hotel customer service was absolutely wonderful and they were very kind, helping us with our laundry needs, extra towels and organising a taxi to the airport early in the morning.
One of the best hotels I've stayed in. We tried 3 hotels in Seoul and this is our no.1 choice. The hotel's interior is super chic and huge space. Everything you need is there and more. Truly a luxury 5 star hotel. Every staff was friendly and helpful. The amenities are superb. The location is perfect and the subway station is literally beside it. It is a bit pricey compared to other 5 star hotel, but it's worth it.
I've been at Solo Travel for over a month and this was one of the best places where I ever Stayed. I was able to learn a lot about South Korea thanks to Reina and it was always nice to spend time there, with all the people. I can really recommend this Hotel.

This was my first visit to South Korea (Myeongdong Seoul) with family. It was amazing and the people were friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3days and visited many places. The hotel is on the main street where you can see all the local activity and merchants. The room was very nice, clean. It was within a 5 minute walk to the Metro station and it couldn't have been a better location.
Location is great. Subway exit 4 (with elevator) and exit 9 (stairs) are right in front of hotel. Bus stop and airport bus stop are also in front of hotel. Easy access to most places both Seoul and Gangnam sides within 20-40 mins subway or bus ride. The room is large enough for a group of 3 to stay comfortably (can open 3 of 28” luggages at the same time).
new modern room, nice bathroom with beautiful bathtub, friendly and helpful staffs, and 30 second walk to tube line 9, which will take you to Gangnam in no time. I visit parents in Korea a few times a year and each time I stay two weeks or so. I found this hotel during my visit in Jan and already stayed twice and more to come!
The location is AMAZING in Myeongdong. You are withing walking distance of the Myeongdong shopping area, Naemun market, and the transportation hub to get anywhere in the city. Also, the airport transfer bus comes to pretty much the front door. Super impressed with the quality of the hotel and the location was 10/5 stars!
As a solo female traveller , this is the best hostel to stay when you are in Korea . It is at the shopping district of Myeongdong and only 5 mins walk to Myeongdong train station . And it is two stop away from Seoul station ( the station that u use to take Airport , ITX , KTX or Mgunghwa line) . Fantastic!

Best so close to mrt just few steps and shopping , restaurant area. Have already started recommending friends to stay for their holidays in Seoul!
Loved the option to stay in a heated or air conditioned room, as I find Korean hotels to typically be too hot. I also liked the plentiful shelves for organizing my things in the room. Aside from the room, having a convenience store on the lobby level was PERFECT. Everyone should do that.

Size - slightly bigger than most hotels in Myeongdong but unable to open 2 luggages fully at all times but comfy enough to stay for 2 pax maximum.
