The air con in our room was excellent, very modern and quiet.
There was one receptionist who was there most of the time and was very helpful when we had questions. He arranged our shared taxi to Osoam.
The location is OK, it is very near the big central market and on a street with a few western restaurants - Lin's restaurant (ex Fat Sams) down the same road is very helpful for getting info about Ko Kong and Cambodia.
The hotel building is pretty in the french colonial style and could be nice if they sorted the problems.
Situated in Koh Kong and only 2.7 km from Koh Kong Beach, Young Wild and Free features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.

OMG, when I saw this location online I wanted to go there. And it is even better than on the pictures!
It’s remote, and you can hear the sea when laying in the bed! The staff is lovely and they even prepared me DELICIOUS vegan dinner and breakfast 🫶🏻

The hostess went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable! She arranged washing, phone connection, and trips for us. As there were not many people who spoke English well, she was savvy and narrowed the language batter 😊

This is a rough town, isolated from the rest of Cambodia by a long potholed road. The supply chain to Thailand is short and then the better infrastructure is available. There are good hotels and some excellent restaurants, which you must pay for. It was the rainy season the streets were we and muddy, the dogs are mouthy and the street lights exist but are unlit. Its four hours of hell to State highway 3. Dont believe google maps a road on the map is reportedly a red laterite mud slide for the whole journey. Take highwy 48 only.

We visited with a rented motorbike ( very old motorbikes proposed in the streets near the hotel ) the mangrove forest, the Tatai waterfall, the buddhist temple : it's not well organised for tourists, it gives the feeling you are not so welcomed. The beach is of course beautiful, with clear water. For diner the restaurants near the river are nice.
I love this place! The staff is super nice and welcoming and the place is just fantastic! It has a a little private beach which they keep very clean! The huts are clean, cute, and comfortable. You will wake up with a great seaview and the sounds of the ocean! I loved the breakfast as well.
It is a great place to stay and chill a bit, but don't forget to explore Koh Kong province!
They arranged transportation all the way to Bangkok for me as well.
It’s was a great experience here in Koh Kong. We booked and stayed for one night, everything here were amazing with a beautiful swimming pool and also enjoyed the view overlooking to the lake. If you find the peaceful place we would recommend here for your trip.
It was a fun resort to stay in and the owners treat me like I was part of the family. They also did a great job arranging my trips in the area and at the border. If I have another opportunity to go back to Koh Kong, I would stay at the resort again.
Good value hotel in a quiet side street in between the main street and the fishing port. Friendly english speaking staff who can sort out your transport to the border and elsewhere. On site restaurant for breakfast. Small swimming pool. Recommended.
Beautiful please to visit in Koh Kong. The staff were very friendly and helpful they helped us to booked a taxi from Koh Kong to Phnom Penh and the taxi is also provided us the best service. Would definitely to stay here again,
Good Position and has a pool. Close to some great little bars. We hired a scooter and is only 15min to beach.
Room just needs updating.
Bed was comfortable and shower was hot.
A/c worked well. So for the price it’s ok.
We enjoyed our three night stay. Clean, good mattress, quiet, central location. Rene and staff were friendly and helpful (helped arrange Koh Kong boat trip, moped, and tuktuk to border). A good value.
Perfect location. Great value for money. Reception staff was very helpful giving directions and answering questions in English. We had a great time in Koh Kong. Highly recommended. Hotel wifi is good.
Rene is great, rents motorbikes at a fair price and is really helpful. His staff are wonderful and his restaurant provides an opportunity for a chat when you are travelling alone.
