The hotel has a beautiful ocean view - had a full moon on the ocean, breath-taking. I like their sustainable measures. The meals were good; I got pineapple upside down for dessert, extra marks. The swimming pool was clean, blue with salty water; enjoyed my swim.

Great rustic city with lots to offer for all travelers.
Great rustic city with lots to offer for all travelers.
Being both Ramadhan and Easter weekend, we had different objectives for our stay. However, it is easier, and probably cheaper if in groups to travel by Tuk tuks (rickshaws) within and around the city.

I loved the tour of fort Jesus and the drive through Mombasa town. We had lunch at a place called char choma right on the beach front in Nyali, they have amazing barbecues. You definitely need a car to take you around Mombasa, anything less than that is not a good experience. Be careful with the locals, always ask the cost of their services before getting yourself involved. Google maps will be your best friend, it lets you know where the restaurants, shopping malls e.t.c are located.

Mombasa is HOT, and I love hot weather so it was fine for me. It is very peaceful, laid back place, and the people were very friendly. A simple NO to a street vendor was fine. We went to Nyali public beach, very nice.

Mombasa, a Kenyan metropolis, ensconced on the cusp of the...
Mombasa, a Kenyan metropolis, ensconced on the cusp of the Indian Ocean, proffered an experience both exhilarating and immersive. The city's historical tapestry, woven with threads of Portuguese, Arab, and British influences, manifested in its magnificent architecture, from the imposing Fort Jesus to the labyrinthine alleys of the Old Town.
My peregrinations led me through bustling marketplaces, where cacophonous haggling painted a vivid picture of the city's commercial heart. The vibrant hues of spices, the aromatic allure of freshly brewed Kenyan coffee, and the captivating calls of vendors all coalesced into an intoxicating sensory experience.
Beyond the urban hum, the pristine beaches beckoned, their silken sands fringed by turquoise waters. Indulging in the aquatic embrace of the Indian Ocean, I found solace in the rhythmic caress of the waves and the mesmerizing spectacle of the sun dipping below the horizon, casting an incandescent ember across the sky.
Mombasa's culinary scene tantalized my taste buds with an explosion of flavors. From the delicate nuances of Swahili cuisine to the fiery depths of Ethiopian stews, each meal was a revelation, a testament to the city's rich cultural heritage.
Departing Mombasa, I carried with me an indelible mosaic of memories – a kaleidoscope of sights, sounds, and flavors that forever etched this captivating coastal haven in my mind's eye.
Great view, friendly staff, excellent room service and a nice variety of local cuisine at the buffet. It's in the perfect location being almost exactly in the middle of the Mombasa island and Haller Park. Highly recommended if you're wanting to visit places in Mombasa, but if you're looking for a resort hotel then Nyali Beach probably isn't the best choice. 10/10 and I will most certainly be staying here again!
The hotel has a beautiful garden overlooking the ocean where you can spend the whole day either enjoying the pool or the sun. It also has access to the beach, but it is a public beach. There are also a few restaurants inside the hotel, one being close to the beach. The hotel organize night events. The room was big and very clean. The stuff is very kind and allow me to do a late check-out (extra-season).
The staff team was cordial, polite and friendly. The room service staff- Constance and Patrick (Grill bar waiter) were so helpful and friendly. The hotel is close to the beach. I booked an ocean view room and an upper floor room and got exactly that. The hotel had a Christmas pre-party which was just fantastic! The hotel had an evening live soft music during dinner which was lovely!
The apartments exceeded my expectations, clean, spacious, accessible to beaches, quiet.kitchen utensils, bathroom, bed, wifi all exceptional, upon check inn they sent password for wifi and not forgetting Mr IAN MUTETHYA you are a great guy, always calling to confirm if client is happy, thanks man am coming back soon,to the 50million Kenyans out there Oceanic apartments the place to be
Place is gorgeous with views to match, AC gets as cold as you want with one in both bedrooms. The Kingston lounge across the street has pretty good food and drinks as well if you don't wanna go out. Ask for Steve Leon for your guide if you need somebody to show you around Mombasa, funny guy that knows everybody and gives the best tours.
We really enjoyed our stay. The room, restaurant and pool were all very good and the maintenance and cleaning was first class. Breakfast was also very good and all the staff are friendly and efficient. We will certainly return again. The hotel is in easy reach of all Mombasa (Fort Jesus, old town, beach and shopping mall by tuk-tuk).
The Location was great for what we wanted, near the mall and near the beach front. The beds were comfortable and the house is well equipped. The rooms were spacious and cool especially for the hot Mombasa weather. The place is favorable for a family stay.
The hotel is very clean and provides very good services, staff and manager were very attentive, helpful and friendly, food is always fresh and delicious, the bed is comfortable, overall I had one of my best experiences staying at a hotel in Kenya.

The hotel was very lovely and well-organized. The breakfast was great everyday and the staff is very kind especially Agnes. If you have any questions, ask for her and she will try to help to the best of her abilities.
Best all inclusive option yet experienced at the Kenya coast. Buffet food quality and variety also better than other nearby hotels. The rooms and property in general are well maintained and the location is beautiful.
The staff is very kind and friendly. The place is sooo close to the train station it is definitely a place you can sleep in as you wait to board your train or go into mombasa town the following morning.
