It was fortunate we had the high floor onsen during the night cos the outdoor view is very good. If we had the basement onsen during our turn like what the men experienced, it would have been boring since there is nothing to see.
The buffet spread is huge and the food delicious. Both dinner and breakfast buffet were excellent and the quality very good, which is unexpected since buffet meals are usually mediocre.

Hotel was just by the road and easy to locate. Room was spacious, quiet and clean. Dinner was sumptuous and tasty; good treat especially in cold weather. Breakfast spread was good combination of western and japanese style. We booked a lake-view room and had a good view of the fireworks.
