The private bath with view to the garden was wonderful, and the view was amazing. The food was exceptional. The staff are extremely friendly, and helpful. I forgot my charger which powers all my devices and they brought it to my next accommodation for me.

The food was incredible and the portions are huge, so bigger eaters can be assured that you won't go hungry. The staff are super sweet and not overbearing. The onsen is also perfect and well maintained, love the basket of onsen items that is given to us in our rooms. The property is very quiet and peaceful, it is great for a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We would definitely recommend this ryokan as the staff was warm, helpful and considerate, the room was spacious and nicely decorated, the baths were indoor but had large windows with a nice view of a japanese garden, and the food was very very good; the staff could even accomodate the needs of my vegetarian partner.
The price was also really convenient. In conclusion, we had a wonderful experience during our stay there.

Getting to the Ryokan was straight forward. Taxis were mostly Toyota Yaris’ which made fitting two large suitcases impossible. A lovely local organised a larger taxi for us.
Upon arriving, the staff were very hospitable and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. They tried their absolute best to communicate with two native English speakers. Dinner was amazing, offering a wide variety of fresh food. Breakfast was equally amazing. The room was clean and very well presented. The private onsen was the highlight for sure!
Overall, this was a very memorable experience and I would highly recommend it.
