We stayed here for one night, and it was really pleasant! We were picked up by the hotel's shuttle service from the train-station, which went smoothly. The room (japanese style), was really spacious! Staff were very helpful and friendly, and dinner and breakfast were excellent. I requested gluten-free meals and they were able to accomodate, which we greatly appreciated!

The location is on the edge of town in a nice size home with full amenities for a family. The host was wonderful and she also runs a restraurant a couple of doors away, which was very nice.

The hotel was on the Nakasendo Trail and made convenient place to stay. Other than that, if you want to do the Nakasendo Trail there is very little accommodation on the trail, unless you go on an organised tour.
