Naruto has a very beautiful nature and the whirlpools are definitely an experience to remember. If you are an art lover I highly recommend the Otsuka Museum of Art which is not far from one of the boats that can take you to see the whirlpools. At Otsuka Museum of Art you can spend the entire day walking around (the best part is that if you need a break you have a free re-entry for the entire day as long as you keep your ticket!). If you're interested in history I recommend you visit Bandō where you'll have temples, shrines, and the German house where you can learn more about the German prisoners of war who resided in the area during World War 1.

The otsuka art gallery is a must-see for art lovers and art historians. If there is only one museum in the world that you could go to for art, we would recommend the Otsuka art museum. We intend to come back and see the temples next! The whirlpools from the bridge is also a marvel of nature and physics. There is a fantastic view of the neighbouring islands in addition to the whirlpools.
