Room is small, new and clean. Set breakfast served to room, simple with bread, salad, hot soup and Hokkaido milk. Well decorated lounge with coffee machine and other drinks. Car park across the road is also the hotel private car park. A quiet town and a few restaurants nearby. Stop for overnight stay before heading to Akan Mashu National Park.

We stayed during spring and there were easy and beautiful walks along the river and to the nearby lake. The host kindly showed us on the map the nearby walks. We saw deers, foxes and birds along the walk. Very peaceful and lovely! It appears that we could be the only guests during our stay and we were given private use of both the indoor and outdoor Onsen during our 2 night stay. Communication with the hosts was through Google translate but it was easy and the hosts were very accommodating and kind when we were late for check in. There is a small convenience store run by a sweet elderly couple right across the street- sells basic snacks, ice cream and souvenirs.

We loved our stay in the caravan as it was so peaceful and quiet and the bed was so comfortable. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck outside looking across the fields to the distant hills and enjoyed some cold refreshments that we bought with us. We also paid for a lovely breakfast with freshly baked bread & muffins, yoghurt & fruit and organic vegetables from their garden. We dined inside their little yellow house looking out over their vegetable garden and the views beyond. The young couple that run this were lovely and so friendly. Although they do not speak fluent English, we definitely managed to have conversations. We bought food from a Seicomart and heated it up in the microwave in the caravan for our dinner but you can drive approximately 10 minutes down the road to the nearest local town to eat or the young owners do a pizza dinner by prior arrangement. If you are after something peaceful and quiet and also a different experience to staying in a hotel, then give this a try. There is a small bathroom and toilet inside the caravan which was fine to use for a quick shower and the toilet flushes. The owners live next door in a small yellow house so are on hand if there are any problems (we had none). We would have liked to have stayed another night but unfortunately our time frame did not allow it.

Very nice-looking building with a modern design. They also sell tiny cheesecakes that are delicious!

The room was bigger than expected, so that was nice surprise. The beds were comfortable and the pillow was really nice! Although the room didn't have air con, there was a fan and we slept fine during a hot summer night. The shower was really big and private.
