Hotel seems to be a refurbished old hotel but has been redone sufficiently well. Room was clean and bed was comfy. The complimentary breakfast was also tasty!

I arrived outside check-in hours, so I only spoke to the staff on the phone. I learned how to do self check-in and how to get the key. Other people were sleeping in my place, so I had no choice but to use the upper bunk. I had a hard time getting down because the ladder was at a right angle. However, the people in the same room seemed to go to the mountains, and when I woke up, they were gone. I didn't see anyone during my stay. It was a strange hotel. Thanks to you, I could use the room as much as I wanted.
The location is perfect, near the station we got to see the castle on the way, and there's a convenience store across the street which was great, I didn't book breakfast at the hotel so it was nice to get something there. Check in was a quick and easy process, and my friend and I had adjacent rooms.
The rooms were very clean and each has a mini fridge.
The shower was easy to use, and the anti bacterial/ deodorant spray for clothes was a nice detail.
Kofu is the perfect base for exploring this region, allowing side trips to Mt Fuji, Matsumoto and Shosenkyo Gorge (must visit!). Accommodation in this city was limited, but Danrokan ticked the boxes for us. A fairly short walk from Kofu Station, we were met by friendly and welcoming staff. The room was very spacious with plenty of charm. Regardless of age, room was clean and tidy and we loved our stay here.
Great facilities, including washing machines, and a traditional Japanese bathing facility on the top floor, complete with a beautiful outdoor pool as well—all free for guests.
Efficient, friendly staff, and easy check-in with ATM-style DIY payment.
Clean (with one caveat—see below).
Very good, double, curtains.
Spacious for a hotel of its price range.
Walking distance (just) from the station.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The tatami room was so comfortable and we loved it.
Great location and good to have car parks available in front of the hotel. We all liked the Japanese-style breakfast but it would be great if there was toast available as well.
Overall we loved our stay and we would come back again.
It is the cheapest place in the area, so it's quite nice if you're on a budget. It's not far from Kofu station and most of the night life. There is a place to get coffee and water for free, as well as a microwave. They gave new towels outside your room every morning which was nice.
Exactly what I look for in a budget hotel. A bit outdated interior and worn for sure, but clean and even has a free, filling Japanese breakfast. Great location, and the staff were so friendly.
the room is perfect for me. the hotel provide complimentary sweets like ice cream and yakult ramen and jelly. the staffs are smiling all the time. the room is clean. i will come back again🙂
It’s a very good place to stay because there are some restaurants and other places nearby to go with your family or friends. Excellent service at the hotel. It was really nice.
