The room was really big, everything was very clean. A nice kitchen and living room to share. Location is close to the beach. The staff is really nice and makes sure you feel welcome all the time!

This cottage is an absolutely amazing place! Nestled in the forest on the bank of a beautiful river, it feels like you’re living in harmony with nature. The cottage is spacious and very well equipped, making it a perfect retreat after a long day of hiking in the mountains. We felt completely at home here. The host is incredibly friendly and speaks great English, which made everything even easier. If I ever return to Yakushima, I would definitely stay in this wonderful place again.

Simple guest house in the port town Miyanoura. The room was spacious and a classical japanese Tatami mat room, which was rather frugal. The shared facilities were abundant, so it was not an issue dhat there was no bathroom in the room.

The location is good, it was a 10 minute walk from the port. The staff was very nice, he let us check in early and we could leave our bags at the store downstairs after checkout.

The location is perfect to drop off your bags from the ferry and start exploring withon minutes off arriving. Its the closest guesthouse to the big ferry from Kagoshima. Its also the lowest price guest house I found. Its an old japanese style guesthouse so dont be suprised that there is no actual bed or a couch/chair in the room. But I actually found it quite comfortable to sleep on the thin matress on the nice floor and had a great sleep.

A really nice traditional house. The sliding doors (shoji) and the floormats (tatami) made the place beautiful. The doors near the beds could open and there was a insect screen door. The view from those windows was amazing! A vegetable garden with green mountains further away. I was feeling like I was in a tent. It made me happy. We rented a car at Yuko rental cars. That was very good and nearby.
