The interior's clean and beautiful, I was so impressed that despite having an extremely long journey to get to Mima City, I still found myself run around the place to take photos. In addition to that, the staff here were extremely helpful and attentive. They helped me with everything, from arranging and communicating with the taxi driver, providing breakfast even when I check out early, giving advices about places that I want to visit to helping me with the booking of new flight ticket when my flight got cancelled out of nowhere. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

This was the best place I stayed in my 5 weeks across Japan. The host was amazing. So friendly, super helpful, spoke English well, entertaining. Offered to stay in the house with me if that would make me feel more safe as a female solo traveller and gave advice what to do in case of e.g. earthquake. She gave me fruits and home baked goods on arrival. The breakfast she prepared was delicious and there was a lot of it too. She wrapped some leftover onigiri to go which was great for hiking. The house is beautifully designed and very comfortable to stay in. I would go out of my way to come back here.
